Unfortunately Trip Advisor does not allow a score of Nil but if it did then this place would achieve it without any problem. Inside is dark and unwelcoming and you get charged Night Club prices for your drinks by the unfriendly staff. Definitely a place to avoid. TOP TIP. - If you are unfortunate enough to drink here definitely do... More

To start with, if I could give this place zero then I would do. We had arranged to go here for our works lads Xmas party and had seen the wonderful pictures on the website !! What a difference when we got there !! The downstairs bar was very dark and not very welcoming, but as the beer was ok... More

What a great place with hundreds of George Best photos and great music. Shows all United games on the tv (I'm told) and there is a discount for United fans on match days. The place is like an extension of Old Traffords Stretford End in the hours leading up to the Saturday home game I attended. This has got to... More

Was looking to try some pubs I hadn't visited before so gave this one a try. It was very dark and dull inside. Only one or two people in there. Seating was tired and ripped in parts. Went upstairs to have a game of pool on the first floor and the room was very dirty and not a nice place... More

Down from Inverness, I was looking for a pub that my mates and me could have a few beers in, and would be fine with my two young nephews which were with us. The Manager and bar staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, and whilst recommending we moved away from the bar with the kids as it... More

I looked on this site for reviews of the place before deciding on booking here, since there is only one, and it seemed okay, I went to their own website to check it out, and booked an overnight stay here. The website is great, and tells alsorts about the history of the building, boasting "new en-suites". By the time me... More

A hidden gem right in the heart of Manchester! We stayed at the Old Nags Head ( my fiance and I) last week and were very impressed. The pub itself is a wonderfully preserved old inn dating from about the 1880s. A great selection of beers and an excellent food menu are available. The rooms are clean and well maintained... More
