Are you serious...?! This is Manchester not London! This takes the biscuit and the going rate in a hotel bar in Manchester is no more than a fiver... Totally takes the mick that I would definately not come back to this place.

It was mine and my husbands first anniversary and this is where my husband booked. I was very surprised once inside. The decor was lovely, room was nice and spacious, very clean and friendly staff. Would deffinately recommend this hotel to a friend/family and would deffinately return. The only downside is that the drinks are a little pricey but im... More

We discovered this place whilst on a day trip to Manchester and decided to stay on. We were eating the restaurant downstairs and went up on the off chance they had a room available. Thankfully they did, not having a chance to review it etc I asked to see the room first and was suitably impressed. The king size room... More

I booked our stay as a surprise for my husbands birthday. We were greeted with a warm welcome and offered a complimentary drink because our room wasn't quite ready. The gentleman in the restaurant was really friendly and if it weren't for the rest of our plans that evening we could have quite happily sat there and chatted away all... More

I stayed one night in July and took one of the suites. It was very comfortable, though there were signs of rather slack maintenance. But what mattered was the noise from the room next door. To be woken up twice by the people in the next room won't do. A pity.

Not sure where to start so will start on arrival, first impressions of the reception staff didn't make us feel very welcomed but that did improve during our 2 night stay. Also don't know why they have to take the £50 card charge on arrival this has been negated though, but didn't think it was necessary. We were expecting something... More

I stayed overnight on a monday, traveling for business. The room is very comfortable and unique. The staff were very very helpful, carries bags, brought tray with milk, ice, biscuits etc. bed was turned down. WiFi was good speed. Bathroom clean and good shower. Ren toilletries were supplied, good if required. I think the noise may be an issue due... More

We booked this hotel for 2 nights, a Sunday and a Monday for our anniversary. We knew the hotel was in the middle of Canal Street but being a fairly broad minded 50+ couple! and as it is part of the Mr and Mrs Smith group of hotels, we were looking forward to something a little different and quirky. The... More

This place is incredibly comfortable, welcoming, luxurious, friendly, quirky and I love it. Best part is the restaurant toilets. Not going to spoil it for you - check it out. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Extremely close to the train station - Well within bag dragging distance. I don't think it's possible to be disappointed with this property.
