There is nothing wrong with this place but one has to take into account it is a hall of residence. A decent night's sleep in a compact room for a price that would be hard to beat in central Manchester. Located close to the railway stations and amenities close at hand. The room had a kettle, etc and (small) shower/toilet... More

Although in the website it says that there is internet connection, but such a connection is available in one side, but on the other side of the building the rooms rented out to people does not have connection. Tenants must come from 5th floor to the 1st floor to have access to internet. There is no elevator. to go to... More

I needed a place for one night only, and wanted to stay close to the train station, so I booked a room via Booking.com three months in advance. I was a sucker for the low price... but you know what they say - you get what you pay for. Sadly, I even didn't get that! I got to the hotel... More

I booked this hotel two days before arriving for only £28 as all the other hotels in Manchester were £60+ and I only needed a bed for the night after a hen party. It was ideal for my needs. It was basically just a student accommodation room. There was a single bed, a desk and chair and a small en... More

Good for the price. No pretensions. I went for a extended weekend during Summer and I knew what I could expect. Very close to Manchester City center, close to bars and pubs. Bed was not very confortable. Used as a University dorm during semesters. Good if you just want to sleep.

I booked a room for one night to attend a stag do. I've been a student so wasn't expecting a palace, but the rooms were a massive let down. Getting to the room was the hardest bit, at no point was I made aware that the doors to the building would be locked and I'd have to go through the... More

excellent, budget accommodation close to gay village! No point in spending loads of dosh on a posh hotel if you are just going out on the lash and gonna be in the room for a few hours. En suite, comfortable bed (you can squeeze in 2 haha) Perfect

This is the second time I have stayed at Weston Halls. They are very conveniently situated – just 5 mins walk from Canal Street and all the bars. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need for somewhere to get your head down. They are ensuite with showers that are hot and clean and the beds are... More

Stayed last year and it was not great but ok and a good location. This year however I find hard to know where to start. First, although tea/coffee making facilities were advertised I had no kettle in my room. I asked at reception and was told one would be provided. The next morning still no kettle so i asked the... Anyone booking this accommodation can clearly see it is student halls of residence. They are small single rooms - sufficient for somewhere to sleep and have a shower. Having read some reviews the comments criticise the accommodation for not being to the standard you'd expect of a hotel room costing three times the price. It may be clichéd...but "you get... More
