Stayed here in early September as purely a place to crash after a night seeing friends in Manchester. As an ex student in Manchester, I pretty much knew exactly what to expect, the bare minimum, however was a little surprised (pleasantly). The rooms are basic, single bed, en suite, with tea and coffee making facilities in the room for convenience.... More

Still in this smelly and dirty room. Both towels has brown stain on them, one flat pillow, mattress so thin you can feel the hard metal springs on your back . Wanted to have a 5 minutes shower but couldn't because it drained so badly as soon as I turned the water on, it filled up the basin. Corridor smells... More

I paid £29 for one night and and chose to stay here as it's close to Piccadilly and I had an early train to catch and the price was right. I'm happy with what I paid and it's basic student accommodation but clean and with tea n coffee facilities in the room. First time I had a bit of a... More

After spending the last 4 yrs here for Manchester Pride, we came with high expectations for this stay, none of which were fulfilled in this trip. Starting with the block we were in, building work was happening - while itself not a problem the paint the were using was high strength and they were doing and they were doing the... More

These are basic rooms but fine for 1 night. No wifi in the rooms so you have to walk via a link corridor to the public areas if you need wifi. Unlike some of the other reviewers I was in a room with tea & coffee making facilities, soap & shower gel. Reception staff were friendly. I paid £36 including... More

Arrived early and was able to check in for extra money, decided not to, left my bag at Palladium Hotel Reception. Came back after 2pm to check in to find my room on Level 5 - no lift. Once in the room, which is extremely small. Bed sheets all clean. No coffee or tea making facilities as suggested on website.... More

Have stayed in these rooms several times now as they are good centrally located rooms which are great to use after a night out. Whilst they are basic student accomodation, they are clean, well-maintained and it's good to have your own own (admittedly small) toilet and shower. When I stayed this time it looked like they had put out brand... More

I chose to stay here because it was convenient for catching an early train from Piccadilly station. Good value for money by city centre standards. Bit apprehensive that it would be noisy as it was a Saturday night but slept OK. "Free toiletries" they promised but there wasn't even a bit of soap. After I made a request for some... More
