The best thing about this accommodation was breakfast....the hot chocolate and croissants were lovely. Our room was on the ground floor....The decor was very shabby....chipped and flaky paintwork with torn wallpaper. The washbasin was cracked as was one of our mugs. The ceiling was adorned with large cobwebs and the walls dusty. The beds were clean and comfortable although we... More

I stay in a wide variety of hotels depending of my situation and location. Is all about value for money, I've spent £300 a night and £30 a night on a room but it's all about what you get for your money! With this hotel £40 was a very good deal. I had a newly decorated room, the receptionist was... More

If u want a hot bath and a bed for the night this is what you get ! Rooms are a little run down but if u need to be close to the airport as we did it will suffice. Lovely little area with conference facilities and library and great dining, a nice cheap nights sleep.

It was a little tricky to find in the dark and better signage would have helped us locate this hotel but we phoned and were given good directions.  We were extremely close and within a few minutes we were there. It's off the road behind a library. There is free car parking on site. We were pleasantly greeted by a... More

Yes the rooms are a bit run down, and you couldn't watch tv in bed if you wanted too because of the layout of the room. But for the night we were there it was ok. All we needed was a bed and a shower which it had. A very basic room, building in need of some tlc. Reception were... More

A lovely private, comfortable, relaxing guest house with a yummy, continental buffet breakfast included in the price. There is loads of food offered with some variety so no need to pay extra for the bacon and eggs. On the bus route. Staff helpful. Simple basics provided, no fuss, no frills.

This is really a little gem. It's quaint and a little quirky, the rooms need updating and the plumbing is noisy for sure. But for the price it's outstanding. The grounds are beautiful, the common areas lovely, the staff super friendly, great breakfast, on a bus route into town and free parking. Seriously this place is fantastic and we'll be... More

Not the most pleasant experience, okay you don't pay a fortune and the rooms aren't too bad but the hair in the shower did it for me and the response when I reported it. Basically shrugged shoulders and said I'll tell the cleaner.

This is an interesting hotel because of the facilities it offers, including a public library and spacious courtyard. These give it the feel of a college campus. The rooms are very clean and well equipped but the mattress was tired and uncomfortable. Very cheap accommodation for the area.

We stayed as a group of 4 (two twin rooms) after attending the game at Old Trafford on the 7th of November. The whole place is very basic but it was what we were expecting for the price we paid. The hotel is located within walking distance of the "curry mile" and has a few on-site free parking spaces available.... More
