I've stayed here and used the facilities many times over the past 6 years and the place gets better all the time. The staff have always been helpful, friendly and professional but over the years the location has been improved and upgraded. It is just off one of the main roads into Manchester but you would never know it. It... More

Me and my partner booked 2 nights here for a short break away , upon arrival the look of the entrance/reception and dining room looked fab! The receptionist was very friendly and showed us to our room .... Upon entering the room my heart sank ! The room was small, dark and dingy .... Coffee stains galore ! Tiniest bathroom... More

Over the years I have stayed at Luther King House a number of times; as an individual; as a wedding guest and, most recently, for the Voices Foundation Conference which meets here every year. In a busy city it's a oasis of calm, especially the cloistered garden; the staff are always friendly and helpful, the facilities exactly what we need... More

August 2014 the regular venue for our annual Voices Foundation conference I must recommend the quality of the catering this year at LK House. The food was interesting, fresh and well presented in appearance and taste. The extremely friendly manner and efficient service of all the kitchen staff contributed to some memorable, lively and amusing moments while choosing from the... More

I stayed here recently while attending a conference. This was my first visit and I was very impressed. The facilities were basic, but clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff particularly friendly and helpful.

I enjoy a stay at Luther King House every August. I work for The Voices Foundation - a national music education charity. LKH is the venue for our annual conference. I had a lovely room and the food was very good. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. I thoroughly recommend it.

I stayed here this week for a conference and have stayed here several times before for the same reason. Over the years the bedrooms have been modernized and upgraded and the accommodation is comfortable and perfect for the function it fulfills ie a good night's sleep, quiet and peaceful surroundings, wonderful food. There is a small bar a pleasant lounge... More

I stayed here with my young daughter as I was looking for somewhere inexpensive that was easily accessible to the city centre, especially Deansgate, and safe. We really enjoyed our night here. Parking was plentiful and free. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, providing bus route information. The garden area was relaxed and lovely and the 'hotel' itself was... More

My second visit. Reasonable, close to town and good for a retreat/solo break. Garden is lovely and peaceful; good to have a communal lounge. Breakfast is simple but what you would expect for continental: boiled eggs, porridge, cereals, yoghurts, toast, croissants/pastries, ham, cheese, selection of fruits. Rooms are fairly large, sink in bedroom, shower. Bed is single but comfy. Walls... More

By far the worst place I have stayed in. Paint coming off the walls, mould in shower, bad bed hence awful sleep. The rooms on when booking bears absolutely no truth to what I had. Fire alarm went off about 15 times in the afternoon when I was trying to get some sleep after 4.5 hours drive. No one mentioned... More
