I've been going to Luther King House over the last 3 years or so. it is my like my home in Manchester! It is in a peaceful location, excellent for reflection or just chilling out. It has really pleasant grounds, car parking facilities and easy access to public transport to any part of Manchester. Very near by there is a... More

The walls are so thin at this hotel that you can hear what the person next door is saying. The doors below sound like they are being slammed shut. It's just not good for a peaceful stay. This doesn't seem to be a problem for other people but if you want a quiet night's sleep, I would look elsewhere. The... More

My partner and I were looking for somewhere cheap to "get our head down" for one night as we were seeing Muse at the Etihad Stadium. A search for hotels was proving a potentially expensive exercise until I spotted this place. We figured as we were just stopping, we were not really too fussy about the room and facilities/looks etc... More

room very basic but clean. Tranquil surroundings and relaxed atmosphere in courtyard. Restaurant very good value, the continental style breakfast was good.Free wi-fi. Good parking and handy for bus into city centre. Is a "working" college so mix of people in lounge and restaurant. if you are Christians there is a chapel on site with a lively service on Sundays (evangelical... More

Stayed here for 1 night when we were in Manchester to see a show. £50 a night for bed and breakfast for 2 seemed like a good deal......IT WASN'T!!! Rip-off, actually. The place is run-down, and dirty in places......thankfully not the bed. Mouldy shower, peeling paintwork, shabby wardrobes, cold water that ran hot, run-down gardens, inattentive staff and confusing breakfast.... More

Two friends and I decided to go to Manchester to watch the football. Chose Fallowfield due to location with pubs and curry mile in close proximity Hotel was basic but beds, towels and room were clean. Bathrooms were clean and everything worked Really cheap option if you plan to be out of the room most of the time and need... More

I would like to begin this review by saying I have no beef about the hotel itself - after all, I haven't actually stayed there; I only wish I could have. My review relates more to the management of the hotel, particularly Mr Paul Winstanley, although I do accept he may be nothing more than someone in the wrong place... More

Clean and very basic, but nice breakfast and friendly staff. Only 15 minutes to central Manchester on the many buses that come by. Good value for money if you just need a basic place to lay your head at night and solid breakfast to get to you going in the morning. My bed was only a twin so a bit... More

I stay in Manchester every week and have tried a lot of the budget accommodation and this is always my first choice. No, this is not a luxury hotel but for what is usually about £30 a night you get: A comfortable room/Ensuite A desk Breakfast(effectively all you can eat) Wi-Fi I just stopped short of giving the hotel 5...
