I'm a relatively infrequent visitor to B+B's but Poppy Bank has revived my desire to do more. First and foremost we were after a Cotswolds experience in or around the Chipping Campden area. Poppy Bank is 700 yards from the centre of the village and it a wonderful sandstone building. After that, cleanliness, room facilities, friendliess and food quality are... more

My wife and I stayed in the Poppy Room of this excellent B&B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts June and Eric we full of useful information and made us feel very welcome. Our ensuite room was clean and comfortable - quality bed sheets, duvet, towels and tea making facilities. The location was 2-3 mins walk from the village... more

My mother (who was visiting from New Zealand) and I stayed in June and Eric's house in September and were made to feel so welcome. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing around the Cotswalds. There are great pubs and restaurants nearby, fantastic walks on the back door step and... more

We read so many fantastic reviews about this place and it certainly lived up to all of them. it really was the most perfect place to stay. June and Eric were so friendly and we definitely agree with their moto 'arrive as guests and leave as friends'. They were very willing to help make our stay as perfect as possible.... more

Our extended family stayed with June and Eric on two separate occasions late August and early September enjoying suburb hospitality in a delightful setting before and after a family wedding in Chipping Camden. We could not have asked for more by way of room amenities, comfort, breakfasts and assistance with local sightseeing. The location of Poppy Bank a very short... more

Called many B&B around and this is the only one that welcomed us staying with our 15month old. The room was nice and clean with a huge clean cot bed and all luxury bedding. Well cooked breakfast and very friendly owner and her friend. Would definitely go there again. more

We had two nights at Poppy Bank during a week long tour of the Cotswolds. We stayed in the Poppy Room which was comfortable and spotless with a cosy bed and a sofa. We found it to be a perfectly adequate size for two people - after all when you are in the beautiful Cotswolds how much time do you... more

We stayed at Poppy bank after careful selection and reading lots of rave reviews. The online brochure depicts 2 large rooms which I am afraid we did not receive. Our room was small but otherwise fine. I had really looked forward to our stay and after the disappointment would certainly choose one of the better B+Bs we discovered during our week in... more

We stayed here one night and while we had no big complaints, we were disappointed after all the rave reviews we read. The B&B is situated off the main road in Chipping Camden and our room faced the front of the house, so the traffic noise was a bit loud in the early evening and morning. Plus, the kids next... more

My daughter and I recently spent a week at June & Eric's B&B in Chipping Campden. They were excellent, friendly hosts that helped make our stay perfect. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and nice thick bath towels! Every day we were treated to a delicious large English breakfast and directions to wherever we were going for the day. Town was... more
