Poppy Bank is the best B&B I've ever stayed. The Damson Room is tastefully decorated, much nicer than I expected for a B&B. The shower is also the best. June and Eric are very nice couple. We drove there and it was very easy to find the B&B. Just passed the town center and then it was within a minute... more

When we were planning our trip to the Cotswolds, we found Poppy Bank on the internet and were drawn in by the website and we were not disappointed. Its location is great for exploring the Cotswolds. The rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated, and spacious, and the wireless internet access was much appreciated. The breakfasts are wonderful, and June is the... more

We stayed 2 nights for the Spring Bank Holiday and had chosen Poppy Bank because of the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. Our hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about what to see and where to eat - we had an excellent meal at the King's Arms at Mickleton. The weather was glorious and the walk (about 5 mins)... more

Stayed at Poppy Bank as part of a short cycling break to the Cotswolds and Stratford. Location was perfect, being 5 minutes walk from Chipping Campden centre and ideal for lovely cycle rides in the Cotwsold countrside. Comfortable and lovely room, spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly hosts, June was a mine of information on the local area. Very enjoyable... more

The Poppy Bank is about a 5 min walk into the village of Chipping Campden. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and our room even had a sofa to relax on after touring around the Cotswolds. The bathroom was clean and had a skylight view over the surrounding countryside. Parking in front of the house for several cars. The... more

We stayed 4 nights at Poppy Bank and found everything exactly as it should be. The room was simply and tastefully decorated, immaculate, and equipped with the best shower I had during a month-long trip to the UK! June was a warm and welcoming hostess, who managed to be both friendly/chatty and unobtrusive. It was a 5 minute (if that)... more

Stayed 3 nights after reading all the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. We were welcomed warmly and were made to feel at home. The owners, June and Eric, were very friendly and unobtrusive. Our room (Poppy) was on the first floor at the front of the house. It was very quiet although it faced the road. It was extremely clean and... more

A lovely B&B with clean rooms and all facilities. Just a short walk into the centre. We were offered a lift to and from a restaurant in a neighbouring village so we didnt have to drive. Breakfast was great with perfect fried eggs at last soft yolks with no runny egg white. Fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay. Staff were... more

After reading the reviews we were prepared for a very nice experience although apprehensive as to whether Poppy Bank could possible live up to the reviews. Everything was as good or better than our expectations which were very high. June and Eric were on holiday when we arrrived but Mary handled everything without a problem. The rooms were very nicely... more
