One of the most historic properties at Cotswolds. Conveniently located at the immaculately well preserved town of Broadway. Opted to stay here as it was preferred accommodation of Oliver Cromwell during the civil war. His bedroom is now a small conference room. The hotel has a rustic charm about it. I was allotted a room in one of the newer... More

Booked via late rooms and got a fab deal for deluxe double room inc dinner b&b...arrived and checked in swiftly, reception very helpful and booked us a table at Luke's bistro next door (which I hasten to add was amazing). The porter took out bags to room 107, bit of a trek as was in the annexe part of the... More

Can't comment on the hotel as we only visited for dinner on a Sunday night during the World Cup final. This was one of the only places that served food late (until 10:30 pm) on a Sunday. The staff are welcoming and only to happy to help (recommended loads of stuff for us to do in the local area). The... More

Touring the Cotswolds, stopped in the lovely Chipping Campden around lunchtime. Up and down we walked with everywhere seemingly full or unappealing. The pub side of the Lygon Arms was packed but we decided to stay anyway. The barkeep was cheery and welcoming. We ordered up large bowls of mushroom soup at the bar, a pint and a glass of... More

A great start to our Cotswolds Way holiday. We had a lovely courtyard room which was great for the dogs. Walk in shower en-suite, king size bed, very comfortable. The pub food and beer was excellent, recommend the Fish and Chips and the breakfast was one of the best of our trip. They also allowed us to leave our car... More

My wife and I stayed here in one of the delux rooms in the courtyard for our wedding anniversary. The room was nice, clean and well maintained, but nothing special. The staff were polite and friendly, but it was a basic service and it did feel like we were staying at a pub rather than a hotel. Despite them knowing... More

I have just returned from a night at the Lygon Arms, Chipping Campden where the service could not have been bettered. All the staff bent over backwards for us, we were quite a large group and the service we all received was exemplary! The food was stunning, roast beef to die for, the only slight complaint I had was that... More

Just back from the Lygon arms and really had a lovely time. Our room was beautiful, quiet and a very relaxing weekend away even for a bank holiday. The service from the staff was excellent. Yes some of them are not English but they go out of their way to serve you. The food in the Great Hall was beautiful... More

In response to the prominent sign outside on Saturday saying we are serving food ALL DAY in our bar and restaurant, my wife and I entered at 2.50pm to be told we stopped doing food at 2.30PM. Strage but true.

Stayed here overnight. I mistakenly booked this hotel, but we couldn't have been happier with the result. Chipping Camden is a lovely place and well worth a visit. The hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly. We had a courtyard room which was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The bar area in the hotel was cosy, and I was... More
