We had booked 3 rooms and on arrival the location of Reception was not obvious as you enter as it is 2hidden2 round a corner in the entrance passage. It is in a room at the foot of the stairs. The registration was efficient, but no offer was made to assist with luggage up the stairs. The bedrooms are excellent... More

Did not stay at the hotel part but, went for Sunday lunch which was amazing the place was very busy. we were lucky to get a table as they are always fully booked. The service was exceptional and nothing to much trouble for the waiting staff.

Stayed here for a night for work. Room was a very good size and nicely laid out. Wifi was free and worked well. Breakfast nicely cooked and presented. Had an evening meal in the bar and it was good. Beer a little pricey, but then coming from up north, all the beer in this part of the world is! Overall... More

The Lygon Arms at Chipping Campden is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful Cotswolds setting. We chose to visit the Cotswolds for our 39th wedding anniversary and oted to stay at the Lygon Arms. There is no online booking through the hotel web site so I made the booking by phone. I later phoned up to book a... More

A group of us stayed here for Friday and Saturday night. Bed was comfortable, staff pleasant, food and ambience generally fine. Breakfast included in overnight rate set us up for the day. We ate in hotel both evenings for convenience; all food except the cod was reasonable value for money. Not particularly cheap- but it's the Cotswolds! .

Although listed as a hotel, this is a good inn, with well appointed rooms, friendly and helpful staff and good food. Reception is not often manned - you ring a bell and wait for someone to appear. We stayed in a de luxe room in the stable courtyard. Unfortunate that building work was going on to create a new (much... More

We stayed 3 nights in the Lygon Arms hotel in September. it was in excellent location, in the heart of Chipping Campden We stayed in one of their courtyard rooms. The room was spacious and clean. We loved the old world feel of our room. The bathroom was modern, spotlessly clean, and amenities were great. They had wonderful breakfast too.... More

We were able to find a table in the bar area although it was popular. Great pub menu with plenty of choice and got into easy conversation with other visitors. The portions were generous and the staff attentive and friendly. All in all , its on our list and we will return to its cosy atmosphere. This was only a... More

My wife and I had a very pleasant lunch, with a wide menu choice, good service and at reasonable prices. Both the Stilton & Walnut Pie & Mash and the Scampi and Chips were lovely, but very big portions! The Sticky Toffee Pudding is particularly good. This is a very traditional old English coaching inn, on the high street of... More
