No hospitality, people pretended they were not at home but in fact they were. The lady of the house did not make us feel welcome. She ignored us when she arrived. The housekeeper...smelled like a bottle of wine all day. The room was dark and very very hot in the attic with no possibility to escape in case of fire.... More

My wife and I spent four days at the Court in the company of the lovely Lady Jane Noel whose ancestors date back to the 1600's in this beautiful village of Chipping Campden. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with modern amenities this is not the place for you, if on the other hand you woulds like... More

We spent one night at The Court and really didnt want to leave, I have to say it was an absolute privilege being able to stay in this fabulous house. Jane is the perfect hostess along with her lovely pugs Connie and Jessie who spent the afternoon with us in her fabulous garden, while I drank champagne in the sun... More

Great stay in this lovely old historical home, filled with antiques and marvellous paintings showing the owner's ancestors and other historical figure. Although it seemed like staying in a museum it also felt like a lovingly cared for home and Jane and her cousin and the friendly kitchen staff all made my husband and I feel very welcome. Our room... My husband and I spent a very happy two nights here. The house is elegant and the grounds are beautiful with very nice surrounding walks. The hostess and her cousin were welcoming and helpful and the town is charming.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Court, and wish we could have stayed longer. Chipping Campden is a very charming village in the heart of the Arts and Crafts movement. The Arts and Crafts museum in nearby Cheltenham is excellent, and The Court Barn Museum near the Court B&B is well worth a visit. The hostess of the Court... More

I agree with the other reviews. We really enjoyed our stay here! Jane was a wonderful hostess!! We were on the third floor & our room was very comfortable & cosy, with a full bathroom attached. Excellent breakfast as well. The eggs were from the chickens out back. The staff was so kind & friendly. We flew all the way from... More

This was a special trip booked for Valentines night and I felt like a princess! We were greeted by the lady of the manor and as she took us through the estate to our room, I felt like we'd stepped back in time to a place of majestic bliss. We were so amazed by the stay so much so that... More

This perfectly run b&b is as all b&bs should be.The house is indeed like a museum but with enough subtle disrepair throughout to remind you that this is a historical and significant home. We stayed one night in the large green walled room with en suite shower. It faced the street and town, yet was completely quiet. The bed was... More

We stayed two nights as part of a self-guided biking trip. The house, from the inside, has a lot character and looks like a museum! From the outside, it is quite low key and could be difficult to locate. It is located right in the town of Chipping Campden, within walking distance of several restaurants, pubs and shops. There are... More
