My wife and I have just returned from a four night stay at The Eight Bells, a wonderful, welcoming pub that serves great Ales and Great food with friendly, helpful staff Strongly recommended. Slightly more expensive than the other two pubs in the high street but well worth paying the extra, we stayed in the standard room which is faily... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Eight Bells Inn at Chipping Camden. The building is incredible - so many original features and so full of character. Our room was small, but very comfortable and quiet, and contained everything we needed. The wifi was great. I could hear the church bells chiming faintly during the night which was lovely. As... Two of us visited with our 5 month old puppies during a weekend away. We didn't want to impose as puppies can be a little unpredictable but the staff made us all feel very welcome in the bar despite a couple of water spillages from our boys. We both eat a simple ciabatta sandwich lunch & thoroughly enjoyed it. Sorry... More

Booked for a last minute, two night stay......room was good value and lovely, hotel/pub is amazing and has great history - also in a great location. The staff were great and the food was brilliant too - (one carnivore, one veggie) we ate there both nights because it was so brilliant on the first night. Only small issue is the... More

Stayed in Chipping Camden for two nights. We stumbled across this place during a late afternoon walk and were so impressed by the ambience and log fire that we booked for the following night. Amazing...this was, without doubt the best ever meal we have had in the Cotswolds. Service absolutely superb.Quality of food second to none. Will definitely recommend this to friends... More

Located at the upper end of the High Street near the church in Chipping Campden. Cosy bar with a decent choice of local ales. Low ceilinged with beams. Room 6 medium sized but stylish and comfortable. Toliet and shower cleverly utilised a recess of the room that looks like a walk in wardrobe area. Welcoming staff and good service. Highly... More

having visited the eight bells recently found the pub to be cosy and friendly but on close inspection there were signs up on the bar and other places stating that any one with a local postcode got a discount on food orders whats wrong with visitors getting discounts I would say anyone now a days should be grateful that they... Had a very enjoyable visit to The Eight Bells on a busy Saturday night just after the New Year. We'd booked up the day before after calling in for an afternoon drink & this was probably a wise move as the place was full on arrival the following evening. The food was excellent (we both chose from options on the... More
