My general impression is that the Cotswold House is a marvelous inn but may be trying just a little too hard for their setting. To be sure there's a lot to be admired here. Set right in the middle of the delightful historic town of Chipping Campden, the Cotswold House provides a peaceful and elegant setting for a day or... more

Attending a business meeting I stayed at here for only one night, which also happened to be the warmest night of the year so far! The hotel wasn't the easiest to find - looking more like a house than a hotel and set back from the main road. The car park is tucked away off the road which runs behind... more

This was our second visit to the Cotswold House and it simply gets better! We were in room 16 which had a wonderfully huge bath and fantastic shower. The room itself was stacked with all the mod cons and the complimentary refreshments were a welcome change. We also loved the pavillion bar and terrace which was lovely on a hot... more

My husband and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at Cotswold House Hotel. We had a king deluxe room booked, which was very spacious, with quite a large bathroom. However, for the price of the hotel, I was a bit disappointed with standard of the room - on first viewing it looked quite shabby. We got past that though, and... more

This was our 2nd visit to the wonderful chipping campden. The first time we stayed at the sister hotel, the Noel Arms, and that was a great place. This time round we thought we'd splash out and stay at the 'palace'. Our 20 month old daughter came too. We found a great deal on the hotel website for a king... more

What a wonderful place the Cotswold House is, from when we arrived the staff were most helpful, we were taken to our room and shown round and told the mini bar was complementary, which stocked a small bottle of white and red wine, a bottle of becks, 2 bottles of coke, 2 bottles of juice, a large bottle of water,milk,... more

We booked a king sized room for valentines weekend. It is in a lovely location if your looking for a relaxing retreat in the heart of the cotswolds. The room was small considering the price, however the bathroom was massive almost the same size as the bedroom. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Parking not that great esp if... more

My Husband and I have just stayed at this hotel for one night for our wedding anniversary and had an amazing time. We booked a junior suite (room 17) which was a large room overlooking the peaceful gardens of the hotel. The bathroom was amazing; bath tub made for two, plasma tv, huge power shower, underfloor heating amazing mood lighting.... more

Having checked out all the info online i had high expectations of this hotel. I had booked a junior suite but i couldn't pick which one as i would have liked but i definately wasn't disappointed. We had room 15 which was fantastic with it's open fire place and freestanding bath. The views over the cotswolds and formal gardens were... more
