The best hotel room we have stayed in and we regularly stay in 4* hotels, large bathroom with walk-in shower and a delightful freestanding bath, lovely decor, very roomy and very clean. Staff friendly. The full english breakfast's were tasty, with a choice of how you like your eggs, plenty of tea, coffee, toast.. The conservatory restaurant area, which we enjoyed... more

Stayed here for two nights whilst touring Cotswolds. After reading previous guest reviews requested an upgraded room. On arrival shown to room 28 in the rear courtyard. Large spacious room with big bathroom, clearly recently refurbished to a good standard. Very comfortable but insufficient room ventilation with only one small opening window.- looked as if small air vents on second... more

We had a wonderful room and the staff at front desk were excellent. The hotel was well situated and clean. We would not recommend the restaurant. Disappointing starter of crab was tinned crab meat with mayo on a bit of lettuce. My main course was lamb so fatty it was difficult to find any meat. Sending it back, I was... more

The communal areas of the hotel were first rate (bar had fantastic ales, fantastic coffee bar, lovely courtyard area) and the service was first rate - the staff were only too happy to help in any and everyway including the night porter going outside in the middle of the night to tackle the roudy kids drinking outside. Chipping Camden is... more

Great room, location, staff and town. Breakfast was awesome as well, had the poached haddock. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable. Bad was the TV, only had 4 channels. Should get a freeview box or something like that. Parking can be quite full also. more

We stayed at the Noel Arms during the Cheltenham Festival Week (horse racing) and had one of the smaller rooms at the rear of the hotel. Although the room was very small, the bed was comfortable, the room pleasant with antique furniture and the bathroom was clean and functional. Everything worked except a small window which would not close and... more

This was our 3rd visit to the Noel Arms in as many years. We love the hotels charm and character, however the rooms are showing real signs of tiredness. We had booked 2 rooms for a midweek break and had rooms 4 and 5 on the 1st Floor. Myself and my partner were in Room 4. It has a 4... more

My husband and I spent Valentine's night here - 4 course dinner, bed and breakfast and a bottle of champagne in a 'large' room for £190 - I thought this was good value compared to other hotel's Valentine's packages. We had booked over the phone and the receptionist kept getting confused - we ended up with a written confirmation of... more

We booked a standard room at the Noel Arms for a Saturday night treat, while the kids went to the grandparents. The welcome was friendly, and we were shown up to Room 18. The room was quite small (about 10ft square). The bed was made of two singles put together, and was very soft, with a definite incline to the... more
