We stayed at the Charingworth Manor for 2 nights in late March and overall our stay was excellent. We booked a superior double but on arrival were given an upgrade to a suite which was really nice. We were also celebrating a special occasion and the hotel were excellent in helping me make arrangements for my other half (E.g. champagne... More

We stayed at the hotel as part of a mid week getaway without the kids. We were looking for a hotel that would allow us a little bit of luxury with character, and it did not dissapoint. The hotel is old, very old with some original features (fireplaces etc), and has stunning views across the cotswolds. The food is very... More

I received an afternoon tea for my birthday where I could choose the location. I am So pleased I chose Charingworth Manor. You receive a pleasant greeting when you first walk in, making you feel relaxed straight away. We could choose to sit inside or out on the terrace, our waitress greeted us promptly too. The sandwiches and homemade cake... More

We were married 24 years ago, and booked Charingworth Manor for a brief honeymoon. Unfortunately a huge snowfall on the day caused us to cancel. Well, we managed the visit 24 years late, and the wait was well worth the wait! Excellent service, wonderful food, and beautiful accommodation. Well done to everyone. We hope that our next visit will not... More

Let's start with the positives, as this place has many. Apart from the obvious (amazing setting, views, gardens, ambiance & service) the building is full of character. Expect squeaky floor boards & no sound proofing -the building is 700 year old after all - and come armed with earplugs. Original features such as the windows really set it off. Most... More

this is a large place up on a hill. You approach up a singing one-lane road lined by still young deciduous trees up the hill with manicured lawns on either side. The view is expansive. At the top, past the tennis court, you find the guest parking round the back. the section you enter is the old Manor. It has a... More

This was our second visit to Charingworth manor and we were not sorry to have returned. We had a really genuine welcome from the gentleman in reception and were taken to our lovely room. "Warwick" has its own little entrance staircase and is like having a private flat to yourself. Our room was spacious, the bed huge and comfortable and... More

I came here with my boyfriend over the Easter weekend to explore the Cotswolds. On arrival the staff were extremely welcoming and showed us around the hotel and offered to book a dinner for us for that night. The room was lovely and the hotel was nice, but it was just missing that something. An overview of the pros and... More

We took advantage of their Winter deal - double room, bottle of prosecco, dinner and breakfast for £169 - and found it absolutely wonderful in all respects and incredible value for money. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room was at the front and had spectacular views and a very comfy bed - we... More
