First visit to this charming old fashioned tearoom, staff friendly and efficient, amazing home made cakes especially the chocolate cake and bakewell slice. Relaxed atmosphere, no rushing us out, very busy but still great service, Good value for money and will be back.

Booked 5 rooms for going to our annual wine tasting. We all enjoyed it-super location, lovely rooms and good breakfasts as always. We love the settees on the landing so that we can all get together . Thanks for being so understanding about the couple who couldn't get because of illness. We'll be back!!

Great location, great tea and great cakes all at a reasonable price. Staff friendly and helpful and lots of jams etc on display to purchase. This cafe also offers Bed & Breakfast on its premises which is very handy for the high street.

We stumbled into the Bantam Tea Room looking for a cup of tea and free wifi so we could search for accommodation for that night (ours had fallen through) only to be told by the lovely owner that they had rooms available. They quickly made up their king room so we could have a look and we were immediately sold... More

We usually go to stow for a cream tea or cakes and the likes.alas on this day we were unable to return so we had just been to chipping campden and returned to the bantum where the cakes were displayed in the window. We sat down on a lovely pew with a nice oval table the furniture is befitting to... More

I have been into the tearooms on a few separate occasions where every time have been welcomed by all of the staff. I was accompanied by my grandmother as it was her birthday where they were very patient when it came to ordering (The choice of cake was difficult as they all looked incredible). I know all of the cakes... More

Step back in time to the days before Costa Coffee to this old fashioned tea room. The 1970s carpet, creaking chairs, slug trails and a menu where the most imaginative item is a scone covered in melted cheese all add to the retro feel. The eye for detail extends to the tea pots which dribble half the tea on the... More

Popped in to this quintessential English tea room for a pot of tea and a slice of cake. It was delightful. Service was efficient and friendly. The walnut cake and Victoria sponge were excellent. And we had a view of the old city market.

Scones with clotted cream and jam was delicious! Would have been better if served warm though, but it was scrumptious anyway. Latte was bad though. So much milk that it had almost no coffee in it :( the cakes looked wonderful but we were too stuffed to sample it..another time perhaps.

This place is right across the street from a market built in the 1600s. Nothing is square and the floor sags a bit but the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is cooked to order and very delicious! Our inn keeper gave us breakfast early and called a taxi for us so we could catch an early train. Very charming!
