My wife and I visited today at lunchtime. Despite being about half full, it still took nearly 10 minutes to be acknowledged by staff. We were not given a menu, so found one ourselves. The food and drink arrived within a reasonable time, and tasted fine, but when we came to leave, we found that we had been overcharged by... More

We were enjoying a lovely day out in the Cotswold and stopped for a drink and slice of cake in the afternoon. We had a warm welcome but felt that charging in excess of £2.00 for a can of fizzy drink is on the high side. The cappuccino was also on the small side. The chocolate cake was clearly homemade... We did arrive on a busy afternoon so obviously a popular place. The table was cleared while we were seated with the crumbs and food wiped onto the floor by our feet. Scones good enough but £19 for 4 scones with jam and cream and 2 cups of tea is overpriced. Service was generally very disappointing with the customer left... More

Small tea shop with very welcoming staff. Serves a good selection of delicious cakes and a good variety of drinks. Also available for sale jars of different preserves etc. Just the place for afternoon refreshments and taking the weight off your feet

My single room was small but perfectly formed. I felt relaxed, safe and comfortable. There is a really cosy reading area with two squidgy sofas. Breakfast was good too with as much tea, coffee and toast as you wanted. The staff were friendly without being over familiar. A very reasonable find in a gorgeous Coxwold little town. Check out Toke's... More

Warm welcome by friendly staff, a comfortable bedroom, traditional good quality breakfast and that home cooked smell just set the mouth watering ready for a spelndid cream tea. Not sure I would change anything. And it had parking which meant we could park close by after a long day out walking.

What a terrible experience! From the moment we walked through the door, our experience at this "tea room" was highly disappointing. Having waited around 10minutes before even being acknowledged (2 families of four therefore fairly hard to miss),there were 3 staff members in the open kitchen each of them making eye contact but clearly choosing to ignore us.We wouldn't mind but the... Had a 2 night stay at the Bantam Tea Rooms. Turned out we were the only guests there and had the main room at the top which is absolutely huge. Bed very clean and comfortable and bathroom spotless. Breakfast was in front of a roaring log fire and was excellent. Very friendly family and their staff made this a very... More

We visited the Tea Rooms twice in a three day visit to Chipping Campden. First visit we had coffee and cake, both were lovely. The coffee was particularly good. Our second visit was for coffee before our journey home, and again was good. On both occasions the service was warm and friendly, which is not always the case when you... More

Today my husband and I visted the Bantam tea rooms, I was drawn in by warm, cosy log fire which made the atmosphere inviting. I was served by very helpful, friendly staff who helped me make my trip special. I will definitely be visting soon bringing all of the family as I believe the bantam was the best tea rooms... More
