What a terrible experience! From the moment we walked through the door, our experience at this "tea room" was highly disappointing. Having waited around 10minutes before even being acknowledged (2 families of four therefore fairly hard to miss),there were 3 staff members in the open kitchen each of them making eye contact but clearly choosing to ignore us.We wouldn't mind but the... Had a 2 night stay at the Bantam Tea Rooms. Turned out we were the only guests there and had the main room at the top which is absolutely huge. Bed very clean and comfortable and bathroom spotless. Breakfast was in front of a roaring log fire and was excellent. Very friendly family and their staff made this a very... More

We visited the Tea Rooms twice in a three day visit to Chipping Campden. First visit we had coffee and cake, both were lovely. The coffee was particularly good. Our second visit was for coffee before our journey home, and again was good. On both occasions the service was warm and friendly, which is not always the case when you... More

Today my husband and I visted the Bantam tea rooms, I was drawn in by warm, cosy log fire which made the atmosphere inviting. I was served by very helpful, friendly staff who helped me make my trip special. I will definitely be visting soon bringing all of the family as I believe the bantam was the best tea rooms... More

When I first walked into Bantam Tea Rooms, I was greeted by the very friendly staff. The young lady that served us was extremely helpful, friendly helping us decide what attractions to go to after our meal. We had a fantastic all day breakfast, followed by an afternoon tea which included the best scone I have ever tasted and a... More

Went here for a cream tea upon arrival in Chipping Campden. Staff was a bit slow but very friendly and helpful. We asked for a few tips and tops to do around the area, and they were more than willing to give us their personal recommendations. Scones were fresh, and the lady even gave us a paper take away bag... More

I have just stayed at the Bantam Tea Rooms for a week whilst on a course and it's safe to say it is the most delightful B&B I have ever stayed in. The staff are wonderful, extremely welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the room was very homely. I will definitely stay again! :)

Very good all-day breakfast. Not huge, but great ingredients - especially the very good old-fashioned plain pork sausage, and the home-baked crusty bread. Tea very generous too, with plenty of spare hot water. Slightly eccentric service, but efficient nevertheless.

I decided to stop at this tea room for a quick bite before heading home from a weekend in Chipping Campden. The team room was lovely and quaint, and the tea and scones were delicious. The scones were probably the best ones I've had - so light and fluffy. I would say they need to up their service a little,... More
