Excellent cream tea, really delicious and one is enough to share as they're very filling. They're also over £7 so you sort of have to share unless you want to spend £15 on cream teas which we thought was a bit steep. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was warm and cosy.

Tea room is a simple layout and not that cosy but does have a warmth to it and some character. Good amount of seating too. Soup was fab and served with nice big bit of bread and butter. Staff friendly and efficient. Have to go out the back for the toilets, which are clean and modern but cold in the... More

Enjoyable team room, friendly staff, great coffee served with a toasted tea cake and cheese scone. Friendly staff. Clean and well appointed with outside toilets. Bantams are situated in the middle of the village

We were visiting the Cotswolds from Leeds and decided to stay overnight last minute. Luckily, ‘The Bantam’ were able to accommodate us. I’m very glad they were able to fit us in, as our stay there was lovely. The rooms were very nice and quaint, and the downstairs tea room was brilliant. The tea room is open to both guests... More

Good atmosphere, lovely cakes and pleasant helpful staff and proprietor/manager but oh dear it is freezing in there in winter. Huge fireplace with a sluggish fire. Two tables including a large settle in front of fire stops any tiny bit of heat reaching the rest of the room anyway. A couple of useless electric heaters (not even modern fan heaters)... More

First visit to this charming old fashioned tearoom, staff friendly and efficient, amazing home made cakes especially the chocolate cake and bakewell slice. Relaxed atmosphere, no rushing us out, very busy but still great service, Good value for money and will be back.

Booked 5 rooms for going to our annual wine tasting. We all enjoyed it-super location, lovely rooms and good breakfasts as always. We love the settees on the landing so that we can all get together . Thanks for being so understanding about the couple who couldn't get because of illness. We'll be back!!

Great location, great tea and great cakes all at a reasonable price. Staff friendly and helpful and lots of jams etc on display to purchase. This cafe also offers Bed & Breakfast on its premises which is very handy for the high street.

We stumbled into the Bantam Tea Room looking for a cup of tea and free wifi so we could search for accommodation for that night (ours had fallen through) only to be told by the lovely owner that they had rooms available. They quickly made up their king room so we could have a look and we were immediately sold... More

We usually go to stow for a cream tea or cakes and the likes.alas on this day we were unable to return so we had just been to chipping campden and returned to the bantum where the cakes were displayed in the window. We sat down on a lovely pew with a nice oval table the furniture is befitting to... More
