I'm spending a week in the Cotswolds with my mum and dad and this tea room was perfect for lunch whilst visiting Chipping Camden. We visited on the hottest day of the year and the tea room (and town!) was very quiet. Service was great, food plentiful and delicious - I don't mind waiting whilst food is cooked fresh. I... More

Stayed in room five with my fiancé and we had the most lovely stay. The room was spacious and light and the bed beyond comfort. The room looked over the old market sqaure and we both felt that we were immersed in history. In the morning we were waited on hand and foot both opting for a full English which... More

The Bantam Tearooms was quaint and picturesque with a welcoming vibe and relaxing atmosphere, this place is a real hidden gem. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch there, the menu was varied and there was a wide variety of cakes, scones, and other confectionary available. I had a scone with clotted cream and jam; it was quite delicious; the scone was... More

For about £8, I got a scone, a date and prune cake and a pot of tea. Atmosphere: quiet and friendly :) not too busy, and I'm guessing it's because it's a weekday. I sat at a corner enjoying my tea. Food: moist cake and scone with clotted cream were most lovely. Nice portions, although slightly pricey but that's like... More

My wife and I stayed in the b and b last weekend. We know Chipping Campden very well having rented a cottage for six months in 2014 and visited several times since. This was our first stay at the The Bantam and it is unlikely to be the last. The accommodation was excellent. It could not be better placed and... More

we visited them during the May bank holiday weekend. there were not many shops still serving food at 4pm, and since a customer left this shop and said "fantastic" so we went in. the pastries did look alluring. we ordered a tea set with scone and a lemon cake, the scone was not fresh, the jam was too sweet, the... My wife and I visited today at lunchtime. Despite being about half full, it still took nearly 10 minutes to be acknowledged by staff. We were not given a menu, so found one ourselves. The food and drink arrived within a reasonable time, and tasted fine, but when we came to leave, we found that we had been overcharged by... More

We were enjoying a lovely day out in the Cotswold and stopped for a drink and slice of cake in the afternoon. We had a warm welcome but felt that charging in excess of £2.00 for a can of fizzy drink is on the high side. The cappuccino was also on the small side. The chocolate cake was clearly homemade... We did arrive on a busy afternoon so obviously a popular place. The table was cleared while we were seated with the crumbs and food wiped onto the floor by our feet. Scones good enough but £19 for 4 scones with jam and cream and 2 cups of tea is overpriced. Service was generally very disappointing with the customer left... More

Small tea shop with very welcoming staff. Serves a good selection of delicious cakes and a good variety of drinks. Also available for sale jars of different preserves etc. Just the place for afternoon refreshments and taking the weight off your feet
