We tried this tearoom as the one we usually go to in Chipping Camden was busy. Had some very nice soup and bread followed by tea and cakes. All fine and the staff were wonderful. They did seem to make a real effort to satisfy the customers. Just a little expensive though.

Simply great value for money with the added bonus of on site parking at the rear of the premises which is positioned in the heart of Chipping Campden's characterful High Street. We enjoyed a wonderfully spacious and tastefully decorated bedroom in the loft with its exposed beams and views to the front overlooking the High Street and to the rear.... More

We loved this cosy little tea room with its delicious soup and cakes, but what makes this place so special is the staff. We forgot the raincover for our pram at the tearoom during a visit, and the staff very obligingly posted it to us. We are so grateful! Will definitely return!!

Only 3 other tables in use at 430. After being seated and waiting 15 minutes to place an order (while avoiding puddles of tea/coffee on the table from previous occupants) despite making eye contact, we convinced ourselves no tea could be worth £7.95 in such a place and left.

I'm spending a week in the Cotswolds with my mum and dad and this tea room was perfect for lunch whilst visiting Chipping Camden. We visited on the hottest day of the year and the tea room (and town!) was very quiet. Service was great, food plentiful and delicious - I don't mind waiting whilst food is cooked fresh. I... More

Stayed in room five with my fiancé and we had the most lovely stay. The room was spacious and light and the bed beyond comfort. The room looked over the old market sqaure and we both felt that we were immersed in history. In the morning we were waited on hand and foot both opting for a full English which... More

The Bantam Tearooms was quaint and picturesque with a welcoming vibe and relaxing atmosphere, this place is a real hidden gem. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch there, the menu was varied and there was a wide variety of cakes, scones, and other confectionary available. I had a scone with clotted cream and jam; it was quite delicious; the scone was... More

For about £8, I got a scone, a date and prune cake and a pot of tea. Atmosphere: quiet and friendly :) not too busy, and I'm guessing it's because it's a weekday. I sat at a corner enjoying my tea. Food: moist cake and scone with clotted cream were most lovely. Nice portions, although slightly pricey but that's like... More

My wife and I stayed in the b and b last weekend. We know Chipping Campden very well having rented a cottage for six months in 2014 and visited several times since. This was our first stay at the The Bantam and it is unlikely to be the last. The accommodation was excellent. It could not be better placed and... More
