Myself and my girlfriend stayed at Throapham House during the recent World Snooker Championships. We found the B & B to be very pleasant. Our room was excellent and was well equipped - the bathroom was good, the wifi was good and all the free snacks and drinks in the room was good also! The breakfast was very good whether... More

Really couldn't be faulted in any way. Food excellent and very creatively presented. Room spotless and with lots of very nice touches. Absolutely tremendous value. Jolly nice hosts too. Will return if we are in the area again.

Excellent B&B and tremendous value. The room was very comfortable, with a brilliant shower, and provided with everything you could want (and more probably) - far better than many expensive hotels. Ann & Robert were very welcoming and all the food on offer for breakfast was great but particularly Robert's cooked breakfast. The location was good for us as we... More

We were made very welcome by our hosts Ann & Robert and thoroughly enjoyed the tea and cake served in the very relaxing and well equipped guest lounge on our arrival. Our room was of a very high standard, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable along with some nice touches like fresh fruit, bottled water and snacks. The breakfast... More

There are not enough words to praise this B & B in the 50 I am allowed. The very best B & B I have ever been in. It is rated 5 star - I would give it 100 stars. Highly recommended. Robert, the host met us in the pouring Yorkshire rain and helped with our baggage and Ann kindly... More

Four friends travelling together thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully renovated Georgian house. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful providing the best breakfast during our lengthy travels, far surpassing some 5 star hotels. Wonderful fresh produce superbly cooked. The accomodation provided many nice touches which attested to a well deserved 5 star rating. Well worth a visit to... More

I was made to feel very welcome, as other guest suggested, both Ann and Robert couldn't be any more helpful. My room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The guest lounge was fantastic, spacious and very relaxing. I only stopped the one night, but I would gladly return and would (and have) recommend to friends/colleagues. Breakfast was delicious and the homemade... More

We stayed for two nights over the Easter break and couldn't have chosen any where better . The owners Ann and Robert had certainly worked hard to present such a high standard wether it be in decor, service or food. They had thought of everything you might need, providing a varied selection of reading material, games and lots of information... More

Very friendly welcome couldn't do enough. Everything exactly as described. I was on business because I prefer small and friendly B&B's but it would make a good centre for a holiday. Very clean and comfortable with excellent wifi. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely stay again.
