This hotel is close to the motorway, and not really walking distance to the town centre, so if that's an issue with you then you may wish to look elsewhere. Thanks to the smoking band anyone trying to sleep at the back of the Hotel will have to listen to the smokers outside chatting into the night. As an Express by Holiday Inn you know what the room will be like, but when you pay extra for Bonus Points and they don't appear you hope Hotel/HO will correct this quickly,... more

I stay in holiday inn's, holiday inn express's and crowne plaza hotels all under the same brand 3 times a month. The location is excellent. Very convienient for the races, only 4.50 for the taxi to racecourse. The bar was still open when we got back (which was nice) And to our surprise there was bonus at breakfast, scrambled eggs & bacon as well as the usual stuff you get in Express hotels. Stayed here for one night on business - really hand for the M18 motorway although not much else nearby other than a family pub restaurant and a few chain places near the Doncaster Dome leisure complex. Stayed here for one night back in Feb 2008, have to say we loved it the location is spot on and with a large secure carpark theres no issues with parking the car, booking in was easy and the staff were very pleasent, the Room was very clean and modern,the function was spot on with the food being excellent, Drinks... more
Good hotel, but "WiFi provided" means it's provided for 15 quid per day. WIFI is optional, not provided. more
