Stayed here for one night on business. The hotel is quite old, however, the room I had was refurbished (not sure if they all have been). The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to Doncaster centre and there's not a lot near it if you like going out to try different pub's and restaurants like I do. It's the... More

I have recently stayed at this Hotel 11/01/2016 for 5 Nights. On arrival I was greeted with a smile and a offer of help with baggage, good start ..unfortunately there was a low pitched noise in my room (possibly kitchen extractor) I was immediately upgraded to a deluxe room with Jacuzzi! I had a good stay, admittedly only arriving back... More

Currently staying in Doncaster on business and thought I would stay in the St ledger.i was greeted by 2 lovely members of staff who where really friendly. My room was fairly small but was very pleasant to stay in. Like any hotel in that price basket you don't get mesmerised by anything special however the new development will do that... More

Arrived feeling tired but was given the keys to a lovely room, sadly this proved to be situated above the banqueting suite, as we were on business it meant early night and an early start. The level of noise made the floor vibrate and the sound was as if the party was in the room. I called down to reception... More

I took over a pre-booking from a friend who should have been in Doncaster same weekend. I was given an assurance I would love the place, I didn't. This hotel has a pub like appearance and is old in keeping with its grade 2 building status. It is near the race course and near the dome, which is where I... More

We stayed here for one night as bf had a gig nearby. Very nice interior and friendly staff when we arrived. We laughed a lot at the view of the demolition rubble that lay beyond the red velvet curtains on the main staircase. Our room was small (206) but very clean and neat. It was ridiculously hot as the radiator... More

We booked in for one night, mid week. Arrived at 10.00pm for check in. Had to wait over 5 minutes for someone to appear at reception. We were handed our plastic room key. When we got to the door, it wouldn't open it. Had to wait another 5 minutes for a staff member to rectify the situation. Inside though, the... More
