I've just got to say thank you to everyone. From the moment we walked through the door, after a two hour journey with heavy fog, we were made to feel at home and an extremely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Jasper loved the attention also 😊. If we are back over your way we will return.

Our unexpected visit this afternoon to the Angel Inn, Misson was a pleasure. The food was excellent, the staff highly professional and the atmosphere welcoming and friendly - both staff and regulars. The quality was further evidenced by spotless toilet facilities enhanced in the 'Ladies' by the availability of the beautiful Neals Yard Remedies hand wash and lotion - proof... More

I recently stayed at this hotel on business. Although I understood that this is a budget hotel I didn't quite expect it to be as poor as it was after viewing the information and the photographs. On arrival at 8pm I asked if the restaurant was still serving food and the harrassed looking owner looked at her watch and looked... More

Lovely pub in a quiet village, real ale and good food. Had a starter and main, too full for a dessert which is a shame as would have loved to try a pud. Steak and ale pie best we have tried, beautiful chunks of good quality meat (no grissle etc) and very filling with excellent chunky chips and three veg.... More

Stayed here on the 25th October. Lovely little pub. Very friendly staff and very helpful too. Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast the next morning was lovely too. Only downside was the church bell in the night. But apart from that lovely place. Would go back again. Free wifi in the pub too.

Stayed overnight, room was warm and comfortable, very high standard of cleanliness. Beds were nice, good quality mattress and bedding. Food was excellent, good quality and value and the locals were very friendly. Would highly recommend

Five of us booked for an impromptu dinner. We were accommodated nicely and enjoyed a wonderful first course and drinks. Food quality good- battered fish particularly nice- very light and melt in the mouth. Mushy peas were a little watery, but generally our meals were very good. Pudding came and by all accounts looked good. The lemon combo was a... More

We were recommended to go to this restaurant so treated ourselves to Sunday lunch. The food quality was very good but we felt the portions a little small especially for the price. One tiny dish of vegetables between 2 of us and not very much roast pork, worse still, no crackling! Their idea of giant Yorkshire puddings is not the... More

Booked one night here on the way home from our holiday, what a great pub! Arrived tired and fed up after a long haul North and was given a very friendly greeting before being shown our room which had its own external entrance and we could put the car right in front. The bar was quite busy but the Landlady... More

Thank you for your kind words. It's always a pleasure to hear that people enjoy their stays. Your dogs were truly gorgeous and so obedient, I just hope that the number of people stopping to look at them wasn't too off-putting for you. I hope we have the pleasure of seeing all 4 of you again. Kind regards Simone More

Having not been for many years, decided to give it a try. Not a big menu which did not bother us, but did find it quite overpriced for what you got, even though what we had was tasty. But we have been to much nicer restaurants and got better value. The veg was cold and when we pointed this out... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your vegetables were hot enough. As per my response when you e-mailed me directly, I confirm it was myself who removed the vegetables for you. I did indeed pick up the cauliflower and put it on the plate, however, we cooked fresh vegetables for you, due the to cauliflower but also... More
