I'm not sure anyone would chose the Doncaster M18/M180 Travelodge as the base for their holiday, but it was a really convenient stopover before a photography workshop at Bemton Cliffs the following morning. The Doncaster M18 hotel has just be refurbished, so it's all sparkly new. I often use Travelodge, as I find it offers me everything I want from... More

I stayed here for one night during the refurbishment of the hotel. My room was on the ground floor to the rear and had already been refurbished. Although the rooms adjacent and opposite were still being refurbished, the noise and disturbance was minimal. This was despite the builders working until 7pm. Despite the strong smell of paint in my room... More

Ended up here for a night because I messed up my booking at another hotel. I would normally dread the idea of staying at a hotel on motorway service station, and I have not been very impressed with Travelodges over recent years. But I have to say my overnight experience here was pretty good. Also, this service station is better... More

I was lucky in that I was given a room on the second floor at the back of the hotel, that overlooked a field with trees all around, and a (partial view of the) lake to the left (see photos). In the evening I sat by the window, to the sound of birds singing. The next morning there were lots... More

Saw some average review...but my stay was just perfect. Easy to find, excellent room size, slept without any disturbance ( my room faced the car park). Super helpful check in. Room was clean, fresh. Realised that food would be service station fare but not a problem as services are always open. Will use again.

Book room before arrival. Reception policy seems to be to. fill up distant rooms first. Stayed at Travelodge many times as loyal customer till allocated room 602.Thought to try again 2014 but no change there.

Convenient location, friendly reception staff, well maintained rooms. Location at Moto Service Area on motorway which houses a selection of fast food outlets which offer reasonable cost meal deals. Got a good deal on room by using advanced booking search.
