We stayed due to location near Doncaster races. We had the "honeymoon suite" - spacious, comfy bed, nice bathroom and view over the communal gardens. However, the bar under the hotel was open until 12 and it was past one o'clock before the noise outside subsided. Unfortunately we were then disturbed by the people in the room above us who... More

I like independent businesses. I really do. I am biased as I have one too. They have tried super hard to get a boutique feel in here. Sometimes they get it right (the bar is really quite nice) other times they miss the target (cheap wall art). They do make the most of some of the original features, but then... More

I stayed in the Regent for three months whilst working in Doncaster and if I hadn't have handed my notice in due to a relocation to Australia then I would still be there! My room was cosy and was just right for me. Seconds from town and a lovely walk to work through the nearby park in the morning. As... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel for 1 night in August costing us £68. When we pulled up the car park was tiny and arranged in a horrendous way. The decor of the hotel was dingy and decaying. Apon being welcomed we were told our reservation couldn't be found but that there was one room left in which... More

Stayed for one night at the Regent in Doncaster after a day of meetings. Hotel staff very nice and efficient. Parking a bit tight when only a few spaces left. Room 42 clean and basic but biggest moan was the noise at 0100 when people we're stood in the car park nattering which at 0100 when no cars around was... More

We stayed one night at the Regent and enjoyed it a great deal. Superbly located on the edge of town (3 minute walk and you're in the centre) and 15 minutes of a stroll to the racecourse, the staff were friendly, professional and keen to help. We asked for a quiet room and, despite being nearly full, did all they... More

I attended a function at the regent hotel last night and I cannot believe how poor it was. There was a live band playing that had blocked the access to the toilet with their amp so people had to climb over this and all the wires to use the toilet. This is a huge health and safety issue. A drink... More

Dear customer I am really sorry to read your negative feedback/comments, we at the Regent pride ourselves on being a friendly family run business. We have questioned all staff members who worked on the evening in question and are at a loss as to which member of staff it could have been,we would prefer for any one attending a function... More

I came to the restaurant for my birthday with friends. We loved our time here and for sure, we will come back soon. The service was efficient and quick. Food tasted beautiful - it was cooked to a high standard with nice combination of flavours. It was also presented very well on the plate! We had the chicken supreme, chicken... More

Booked the hotel through trip advisor which to be honest was the only problem I encountered as we did not receive a confirmation email which meant I had to call the hotel to check on the booking. Nice friendly welcome on arrival by the receptionist, easy check in, room was large and spacious with an excellent bed and facilities. We... More
