I simply cannot fault this hotel. The setting is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and furnished to a high standard. The beds are huge, I could go on.... I would recommend this hotel 100% and will definitely keep booking here when I need to stay in the area. more

I stayed at this hotel for one night whilst on business last week. My single room was surprisingly spacious, with a four poster double bed, two big sofas and a large tv (the bath was also far larger than average!) We stayed at the mount pleasant hotel on the 25/2/08 we had a fantastic evening. The staff was very nice the rooms themselfs was very clean couldn't find any fault at all. We will be going back very soon. more

I visit this area on business at least fortnightly and often weekly and have done so for the last two years. I have never had a bad experience at this hotel. Every room, I am gradually working through the entire hotel, is individual and in its way superb. Even the cheapest rooms have large comfortable beds, lounge areas and desks.... more

We have just returned from a two night stay at Mount Pleasant and we can certainly recommend it very highly. Our room was superb, we booked an executive one in order to have a larger bed than the standard one. The bathroom was excellent, thick fluffy towels, big bath, great shower and plenty of hot water.
