This hotel was recommended by colleagues. It is slightly out of Doncaster but there are good transport links. Rooms are spacious and some are a little quirky, mine had a water bed! First impressions fabulous. A complimentary upgrade to a junior suite was very welcome and the room and bathroom were stunning. We may just have been unlucky as our first night was Easter Monday and there had been a wedding on in the afternoon, but our meal was nowhere near as good as an AA Rosette would indicate. The hotel although a little out of town was well worth the journey, on arrival it had a superb lounge area which reall y set the standard for the visit , i did recieve a free upgrade from an executive room to ajunior suite which certainly made the price I paid worth the money. I simply cannot fault this hotel. The setting is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and furnished to a high standard. The beds are huge, I could go on.... I would recommend this hotel 100% and will definitely keep booking here when I need to stay in the area. more

I stayed at this hotel for one night whilst on business last week. We stayed at the mount pleasant hotel on the 25/2/08 we had a fantastic evening. The staff was very nice the rooms themselfs was very clean couldn't find any fault at all. We will be going back very soon. more

I visit this area on business at least fortnightly and often weekly and have done so for the last two years. I have never had a bad experience at this hotel. Every room, I am gradually working through the entire hotel, is individual and in its way superb. Even the cheapest rooms have large comfortable beds, lounge areas and desks.... more
