On a cycling trip up North I arrived here after a rainy night at 6.45am, apologetically wet. Bron, opening the Cafe, was the absolute epitome of welcoming. Lovely - as was Manny the owner, as was the room (right beside the Cafe that I stayed in for 2 nights). I wasn't bothered by the traffic one bit; the room was... More

We would recommend this B&B as the hotel was lovely and very clean. Our room was lovely with a four poster bed and a spacious shower. Ample car parking at the rear of the premises which is always good news.

Stayed here for just the one night. The room was comfortable with everything that we needed. Very clean. Breakfast was self service, and a lovely full english breakfast was cooked for us.Hosts were excellent. Lots of off road parking which was a bonus. Would stay again!

Stayed at the guest house in June 2014 as part of a large group. The owners were very accommodating and adapted to our needs with late check in and very early depart. As mentioned in previous reviews, yes keys are left out for you to collect which is a first for me but the system worked well for us. Accommodation... More

The room was very basic but clean with a comfortable bed and good sized tv. The kettle leaked and the shower pressure was intermittent which resulted in a cold trickle then suddenly a hot blast in the face. Breakfast was very average and not much of it. Good location from nice parts of Tickhill and good for a one night... More

Stayed here for one night only. Friendly greeting on arrival. Room was lovely and warm and very clean. Shower was big and hot! Comfortable bed. At breakfast you help yourself to toast and juice, cutlery etc and a cooked breakfast is made to order for you. This is the cheapest place we have ever stayed and is superb value for... More

Have stayed here many times in the past and always get the same room which is fine as it has 2 single beds which are very comfortable and look fairly new. We always arrive late afternoon and collect the key from the conservatory but that is not a problem, the furniture in the room is old and tired, there is... More

We were fortunate that when we arrived, the cafe was open and therefore there was someone to show us to our room, otherwise you collect your keys from the conservatory at the back of the Guest House, and find your own way to your room. The bedroom was clean, and had been recently decorated, but the furniture was eclectic, obviously... More

this guest house is a guest house without 24 hours service. We wanted to tell them about our arrival, but there was an answering machine. It said a mobile number which was very hard to understand, so we had to ring it three times to get the number right. But noone answered the mobile! So we just went there. The... More
