I have stayed at the Windsor House Hotel several times now, and no-one comes close. I have paid double the price and got a ‘box’ for the night elsewhere. Excellently sized and equipped rooms with hygiene standards in the en-suite that are second to none. Ian and Enid bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The personal touch those large Hotels usually miss. Excellent breakfast, although we indulged in the "heart-attack" breakfast option every morning. Free use of WiFi an added bonus. I visited here as a group of 3 couples aged from 27 - 75. Rooms: My husband and I received the family room with a double bed and 2 singles. The room was modern decoration but still held some original features, The conditions were emaculate and spacious. My Grandparents had a double Room which had a 4 poster double bed.... more
