Stayed for one night when I couldn't get into a Premier Inn. The room was warm and clean but furnishings and general feel of the place, a bit old fashioned. The breakfast is extra and served in a basket in your room the night before. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Good area for parking at the back of the... More

I booked this for my Mum and Son to stay in while up for the weekend watching me compete in Tough Guy. After trying the comfiest bed in the cleanest room ever, I went straight to the Himley Country Dump, checked out and stayed here with them. The Kiwi lady was a wonderful host and we will be staying here... More

We own a B&B in Devon and we have high expectations concerning cleanliness and home comforts and this place topped the bill for us.. What a wonderful place to stay. We were greeted by Anne who couldn't do enough for us. We were in room 2 which... More

Found this place on the web as I needed a short two night stay in the area. A nice welcome and the place is clean overall. However, I found the furnishings and general feel to the place quite tired/old fashioned and the rooms overall probably need an upgrade. I stayed in room 1 which was very large but noisy due... This was the first time we tried staying here and will come again. We were checked in by Jackie who was very friendly and welcoming. My room was cleam, comfortable, well stocked with an ensuite. The bathroom was smart and clean and the shower was good. The hotel has its own off road parking. There is also a nice outside... More

Quaint, historic village. There is a great pub 4 minutes walk away which serves excellent meat pies and fish and chips. We are stopping in to do some genealogy research. Both of us have ancestors from adjoining villages. There was a mass exodus from here in the mid 1800's. Many were coal miners and went to PA for work.

Stayed there for just one night, but it was a lovely place to stay, the garden and flowers look beautiful and inside was tastefully decorated and excellently maintained. The people there was very thoughtful and welcoming. A very pleasant stay and will probably stay there again when the next air show is on.
