We were visiting friends for weekend and wanted somewhere close to them. The hotel is nice ish the rooms have a strange layout with a cupboard that sticks out over the window. The soundproofing is very good as little or no traffic noise. Bathroom small but ok. We were thoughtfully given a flask of milk for tea, only to find... More

I recently stayed here after going to a wedding at the town hall. The location is brilliant- very central and easy to find. The hotel itself is very charming with lots of character whilst still being modern and clean. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was a very generous size. Lots of storage in the room and all... More

Stayed here for one night last weekend with my husband. We put bags in our room and headed downstairs to find the bar. Lady was already serving someone but greeted us and told us she would be with us in a few moments. Fantastic! This is exactly the service we received from everyone. Makes a refreshing change. Having shopped and... More

Lovely bar and dining area. I booked here for my husband's birthday taking our daughter with us. I drive past this bar/restaurant every day and it always looks lovely with tempting advertising. Has a bit of an identity crisis we feel - it's really smart and has the potential to be a lot better. They need to invest in staff... More
