What a great hotel - could not fault it in any way. The rooms are absolutely lovely - spacious, luxurious, excellent facilities, but they somehow give off a cosy unpretentious feel. The staff were incredibly hospitable and efficient throughout. The bar itself is lovely - great atmosphere, fantastic quality / selection of drinks, well priced and again lovely staff. This... more

Really don't want to share this B&B with anyone. But, couldn't resist... It is modern, very clean and the breakfast's as excellent (By far the best i have had and i am a regular to Keswick). I will be returning here on my next visit with out a doubt! more

The hotel itself is lovely. We enjoyed a very nice evening in the well-stocked bar and found the room and overall atmosphere to be very pleasant. However, the shower in the room was not working and there was barely any water from the hot tap. We made do and headed for breakfast, where two of our friends were enjoying what... more

Thanks for your review. I have addressed this issue with you personally by email and explained the circumstances of your unfortunately slow breakfast experience, I have also offered compensation with a complimentary meal or breakfast. We do try and ensure our breakfasts are served promptly, we even have a pre-ordering system for guests that are in a particular rush. All...

We booked the Executive Suite with high expectations having stayed here before on numerous occasions and been impressed with the decor, levels of cleanliness and overall feel of the hotel. Lady on reception was friendly and polite however I found it a bit strange that having acknowledged we'd stayed at the hotel before, asked if we could find our own... more

Thanks for reviewing our hotel. Whilst much of your review was positive there were obviously a number of irritating issues that needed attention. We have adopted a new housekeeping policy with the many remote controls across our 16 bedrooms. In your room there are five separate remote controls for the two LCD televisions, DVD player, Freeview box and music centre....

I booked the hotel online for £65 which included breakfast and a £5 bar voucher, very reasonable price for town centre and no extra cost for a single traveller. However, parking is aslight problem. I paid £10 for an over night stay in the Parksafe car park just around the corner. I imagine this would become a very expensive overhead... more

Great For: - Lively bar till 1am with good beer - Nice modern room - Good central location Bad for: - No real reception area. Just a hatch accessed through main bar - Impolite receptionist on check-in. The customer definately comes second. - Its a drinking bar so no food after 7pm - Not family friendly. This is set up... more

I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend, we booked one of the standard rooms for £65 and also received a £5 voucher for the bar. The location was excellent, bar parking, but that wasn't an issue for us, the rooms and communal areas were very well turned out, the breakfast was excellent, and the pub itself was very... more

My wife and I stayed here for one night over the August Bank Holiday, last minute decision, as usual. We booked a room on the net direct with the hotel for a large room, however the hotel got in touch within 10 minutes to say only a smaller room was available. As we had made plans to do other things... more

This was my second stay at this hotel. This time we spent two nights. The room was large and well decorated and furnished, but there was no bath. I would think that at £95 a night in Lancaster there would be a bath. I am happy with the shower but my young daughter does not like shower. Four years ago... more

Stayed here for two nights whilst attending a wedding in Lancaster. Rooms were comfortable and good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room - that's ground coffee and a cafetiere, not instant stuff. Likewise at breakfast if you ask for tea you'll get a teapot and strainer. Breakfast was... more
