I was slightly apprehensive having read some negative reviews of this hotel but it was fine. Good, warm welcome; good sized, clean room and convenient location. Wifi connection sometimes inconsistent.

The room was dirty, the bathroom covered in mould (which would have wiped off) and the bedding had a large brown stain on it under the duvet. I have stayed at many travelodges and although they are always basic, normally they are at least clean. This was filthy and the receptionist told me when I said I came up from... More

Yes the price is good for a quick stop over whilst visiting relatives but the room we were given was one that had not been refurbished and they had the heating on full blast and the windows open. All of us struggled to sleep as even though we turned off the heating it was so stuffy we had to have... More

This hotel hasn't been refurbished. It's handy as just off the motorway but they don't tell you it's not refurbished until your booking is complete. They offered a 10% discount off next booking but it didn't work! Duvet had some small mould stains on (as though it hadn't been dried properly), the walls were marked and stained and the old... Average , slightly tired room but with almost everything we needed for one night stopover except that the forth bed was not made up on arrival. Also insufficent blankets for such a bitter cold night. Didn't bother asking for more - we used our own. The duvets were very thin and the childrens beds were hard and uncomfortable. One was... More

Discreetly situated and very convenient to Lancaster motorway services. A welcome stop off when travelling between Scotland and the South coast. The simply refurbished room was clean and very adequate.

I found this Travelodge very clean and comfortable. The room was warm on arrival which was appreciated as it was very cold at the time. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back and would recommend it as it's conveniently situated close to the services but not too close to... More

If you like rooms that needs painting, bad smells and a bad sleep this is the place for you. Despite being reasonably priced I was disappointed with the overall experience. The childrens bed was a hard, uncomfortable one but luckily being a child he didn't complain so he wasn't affected. The main beds are comfortable even if the pillows were... More
