My wife and I stayed over a weekend visiting relatives. The hotel is very close to the M6 but about 1.5 miles from Lancaster centre. We had an Executive Room which was spacious and clean but lacking the promised bathrobes. We were booked here for 2 nights at the end of August. The room was dirty, beds for our children were never made up by housekeeping. We were dreading this hotel after reading the reviews on trip adviser but it was excellent value for money, we stayed in a family room on the 2nd floor and the room was spotless with a double bed and two singles beds made up for the children, our girls loved watching the rabbits out of the window on the grass... more

All I can say is avoid it!!!! The rooms are not worth half the amount they charge for. There were spider webs above my bed; mould in the bathroom. Old tired decor & my room was opposite the main road, impossible to sleep after 6 am. Only good thing was the very nice staff. more

I stayed here for a week on a course. The hotel is a perfectly standard Holiday Inn- comfortable, clean, reasonably well equipped. THe food was OK, nothing special, but perfectly acceptable. The location is good, just minutes from jct 34 of M6. We are used to living in country and noise was not bad, the hotel is set back from the main road into Lancaster.
