Stayed at the hotel on recommendation of local company who I was visiting on business. Just five miles from Lancaster city centre and in the middle of the country side it is a hidden gem. First impressions are very good, the hotel looks superb and the staff are very welcoming. The rooms are a very good standard and service in... More

Stayed a night in room 12 with lovely views across the canal and countryside. Staff we're lovely and really helpful. We had a great evening meal and full English breakfast which we were really pleased with. Only real downside was the housekeeping staff coming into our room at 9:30 (check out wasn't until 10:30) just think there must be a... More

What an amazing find. My hubby and I were going to my brothers wedding in Lancaster so decided to travel up early and stay in a hotel. A search on the internet showed us this hotel so we decided to book a night. Upon arrival we were welcomed in the most pleasant way, booked in and handed a key with... More

A nice clean, simply furnished room in a beautifully positioned hotel just outside Lancaster. Staff are efficient and friendly, and to top it all the food was delicious. I like a hotel with a comfy lounge for relaxing with a brew and the paper, this hotel ticked that box too! No pool for a swim though...canal side setting but I... More

Stayed here for one night while visiting family. Very clean and contemporary decor. Only one or two "down" points - breakfast is only served from 7-9 a.m during the week, and room check out time is 10.30 a.m. Both of these were a little early we felt, especially if you want to relax. Cooked breakfast was good, waiter a little... More

Stayed for 1 night. Lovely location and on the whole a nice place to stay. We booked a signature room which I was a little disappointed with as I have stayed in a signature room at the sister hotel "The Shard"and they don't compare to each other as you expect. The pressure of the shower over the bath was pretty... More

Stayed here for three nights and would say overall it was a good hotel. It was a nice clean tidy hotel (though i wouldn't say it was four star). The restaurant was lovely and we had two excellent meals whilst staying there. Truthfully one of the best meals i've ever had and the young waiting on staff were very good.... More

The Mill at Conder Green was a lucky find, situated alongside the canal, with lovely views. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The evening menu offered plenty of choice and the food was well presented and very tasty. The breakfast was fantastic, with such a variety of different things. The staff were very friendly, well organised and professional. I... More

We were doing a walk along the canal towpath from Galgate to Glasson Dock and came across this place. What a lovely location. It was just before 11am, so very quiet inside. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We ordered tea & coffee and asked if they had any scones or pastries. No was the answer as the kitchen... More
