My wife and I stayed in this hotel for one night with two of our children aged 16 and 12 in two rooms ready for a friend's wedding the following day. The hotel is easy to find being right at the end of the A6 that goes all the way from the motorway and is in the centre of the... More

We stayed for four nights and were quite satisfied with the both the location of the hotel and the value for the price paid; a much better experience than my previous stays at Travelodge. A great location fro those arriving by train or coach however a bit more challenging for those with a car though a secure car park is... More

We stayed for one night when visiting friends in Lancaster. Great location in terms of being in the centre. We did however find that the hotel isn't very well soundproofed from outside noise. We kept hearing police cars and noisy traffic outside. The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom sufficient. The bed had a plastic sheet underneath the main sheet,... More

Although the secure car park was a short walk away, it was worth keeping the car there, since we did not need it until the end of our stay. So many activities were within walking distance. We have seen the castle before, but this time we found an alternative route, from St. Georges Quay. The Quay has its own atmosphere,... More

I have only just been reading reviews of hotels on this site this year, so this is why its a little late my review. I stayed at this Hotel in September 2011 when it was new. Great Staff and service. A very odd lay out with the check in desk on the first floor. The rooms was very clean and... More

Got a room for a Friday night in the Travelodge sale for £10! For this cannot fault it! Wetherspoons one side, Tesco express the other side with lots of shops and bars nearby! There is a carpark right but the Travelodge but is has no entry signs from the main road and after MANY laps of the towncentre could not... More

A good, clean, safe place to stay in the centre of Lancaster. We were only passing through, on our way to the Lakes, but it was a perfectly good place to be. A friendly Wetherspoons was next door with decent food.

I stayed in this hotel on a Tuesday night in April, and despite reading other reviews about the noise, I thought I would be safe as I wasn't staying on a weekend night. Unfortunately I wasn't. Having two Universities in walking distance, and an abundance of cheap, student-oriented bars surrounding the hotel, meant I was kept awake until the early... More

We also stayed on Saturday 14th April. The family room was very good for the money and we managed to park opposite. The only (major) drawback was the banging techno from the nightclub behind which kept me awake until after 2am! What made this particulalry galling was, having read about this issue on Trip Advisor previously I phoned the hotel... More

stayed here for one night for our daughter's graduation. Rooms were basic but clean and provided a decent night's sleep - heard no noise from outside the hotel. Check in was very slow, but this was our only slight quibble and was probably due to the volume of people arriving at the same time. Was more than adequate for the... More
