25 minutes awaiting before even getting a menu list. Then one food was OK. The second one was very average or under. Then another half an hour waiting for paying. Really not as good as expected. :-( Next time I will choose different one.

Before venturing into town, we were there to see the comedian Rob Beckett, we had our evening meal, which along with the service, was excellent! The room was modern, comfortable and clean, and the beds were VERY comfy. The next morning there was a choice of... More

Absolutely gorgeous food. Excellent service. Lovely, clean tables and comfortable seats. Beautifully done out bar. Already planning our next visit! We had the salmon, the Wagon and Horses burger and the utterly mouthwatering chicken chintrado dish off the light bites menu. The fat chips were perfect with it. Couldn't fault the food at all. Best pub meal we've had in... More

Went recently and had the trio of beef, not cheap but superb, my wife had the chicken trinchado which was also delicious. Going again, and next time I'm going to try the chicken. Would also recommend the Wizard ale.

We booked this hotel for two nights and used four rooms for our family stay. Location is close to town and overlooks the river. Rooms are small but modern, clean and well equipped with nice bedding and towels. Tea and coffee in the room and nice powerful shower. The best thing of all was the service we received from all... My husband and I loved our time at this hotel. The staff are the nicest we have encountered ever!! The rooms are of a good size, comfortable and very clean. The bar below had friendly locals to talk with and the alcohol was a good price. The publican Paul and his wife Carole are wonderful to deal with and made... More

We decided at the very last minute to have Dinner at the Wagon & Horses, we had been in the bar a couple of times & the food looked delicious. We weren't disappointed, the food was top notch served very promptly with great service from all the Staff!! A lovely pub with great character, well worth a visit..
