Last minute booking and we were not disappointed, far better value than the Premier inn up the road. Staff were very very helpful, breakfast hearty and tasty. This hotel is in a ideal location for central Lancaster. The only thing is the very limited parking but can't be helped.

The hotel is a little gem in the centre of Lanaster. Priced at the same level of a soulless premier Inn it offers clean modern rooms, FREE wifi unlike the Premier Inns, extremely comfortable beds and free, if limited parking. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, did not have the breakfast but it was freshly cooked and looked very appetising.... More

We had two rooms for one night. Staff were friendly and helpful and were happy to arrange early access to one of the rooms so we could get changed to attend the function we had travelled for. Clean and tidy throughout. Possibly just been painted and decorated with new carpets etc certainly our rooms and the communal areas were up... More

Stayed for 1 night. Room 5 up very steep & narrow stairs. Public areas grubby. Nice room - clean & tidy with everything as expected. Some issues: no toilet roll holder, very worn fixtures & fittings, leaking soap dispenser, window broken, no sign of promised wi-fi. Great location in centre of town, but be warned - parking is for 4... More

We were only here for one night. It was OK I guess, booked 2 rooms fairly late. Amused on arrival, we were the last to arrive for that evening (about 6pm) and owners were obviously anxious to leave the premises, so got a distinct impression that we were a bit of a nuisance, especially as I hadn't given them my... Booked at quite short notice, and arranged for a parking space. John who greeted us was extremely polite, helpful and attentive. We stayed in Room 2 which was upstairs at the back. It was large, tidy and clean, with plenty of storage, just a few small things needed attention to, to make it even better! Was very very warm, so... More

I just arrived here in UK and without any credit/debit card I tried to book a room via phone call. The operator (John) answered it and after I spoke to him, he just said forget it and cut the line. He was such a rude operator/staff who is not assist me at all. I will never stay at the hotel... More

We stayed here for 2 nights over the New Year. We had some doubts about the place after reading some of the reviews but it was a nice place to stay in. The staff here are very helpful and friendly and when we asked for more towels and milk we got them straight away. We stayed in room 3 which... More

We stayed here for the one night and found it quite pleasant, the room was nice and the breakfast pretty good, liked the fact that you could have your coffee refilled as much as you wanted, the owners were very friendly and helpfull. The car parking is free and with the hotel location right in the centre of Lancaster thats... More

My partner and I decided to travel up to Lancaster for a couple of days, just somewhere to get away from before Christmas! So I started looking online for somewhere to stay and looked at a few places, and I'll be honest we reluctantly booked this hotel due to all the bad reviews. But we decided to take the risk!... More
