The breakfast was fantastic from cereals fresh fruit salad to a full English. We had an amazing meal Saturday early evening. Booking is definitely recommend but we were luckily enough to get... More

Lovely pub and very pleasant staff - have been meaning to go for a long time. We both ordered the liver asking for it to be pink. I had a small portion and my friend had a large one. Noticed someone eating the fish and chips and they looked really good. However - the liver was awful when it came... More

I recently organised a meal here for a group of 22 friends and the experience was a pleasure from start to finish. The staff were delightful to deal with and the evening was extremely enjoyable for everyone. The set 3 course menu we were offered was exceptionally good value and the dishes varied and interesting with something for everybody. Serving... More

Had a meal here with a group of friends, organised by someone else in the group. Excellent price for the lovely 3 course meal we had ( I suppose the group size helped), and the service was well attended by the staff. Albeit only the one minor gripe, they had omitted to put the bread out until we were well... More

The Stork is a gorgeous traditional pub. It is fantastic for families and has lovely views - this is why we return there again and again, but sometimes we ask ourselves 'why do we return?' because the food experience is always a let down. The menu looks interesting and appetizing, but despite all our best efforts to order most things... More

We have been here many times for meals in the past. Last week we went to stay for a couple of days at half term as we both work in schools. I think we were the only people staying, but we still had excellent service at breakfast with more than enough to eat (try the homemade granola! - pity they... More

Family of 11 had lunch here, huge portions of wonderful homemade food. Fantastic child friendly facilities, the adults were able to eat in peace while the children coloured in and played outside. They particularily enjoyed seeing the black rabbit. Very helpful and attentive staff, so good with the children. We will definately be back.

Hearty food, plenty of choice, nice real ales, friendly staff, attentive waiters, comfy homely atmosphere, plenty of parking, recommend for a leisurely lunch. Small and large portions depending on your appetite which is great.
