OK, look at this place as a hostel, then you won't be disappointed, no saving graces apart from cost. Paper thin walls Exposed wiring Tiny room Shoddy build Lumpy bed Suspect smells Dirty.. As I said, a hostel.

Booked a room for the night so we could see our friends band play in the hotel Bar, A great night was had by all, good beer, great music, the room was more than adequate for what we needed, a little tired but nothing to bad. Don't come here if you want a quiet weekend, TJ's is a very lively... More

Very central Rooms are alright They were clean A few marks on chairs and carpet Beds and bedding were fine Warm Ideal for 1 night The only negative is that the bar down stairs plays music&karoki till 2 in the morning So bring earplugs or stay out till 2 :-)

The hotel smells of stale smoke, you can feel the coils in the beds, and doors are hanging off their hinges! The bathroom had hairs in the shower, the shower door didn't shut properly as it was hanging off one rusty screw...I could go on. Don't waste your money!!!

Unfortunately, I had to stay in this hotel for 2 weeks and I must say the services were more than just deplorable; at loss of worse word for it. The rooms are pathetic and the room service.... I wonder why did they keep that phone in the room when nobody answers that. There is some more bad news, if you... More

I must admit on entry to my twin room I thought, what the hell! It served its purpose however, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Especially Joe, he left a lasting impression on me! The power shower is amazing!!! Washed that hangover away nicely 😁

I normally stay elsewhere (the Premier Inn) but they were full so as I needed a place close to the station and the options were very limited, I ended up choosing the Thomas James. The place needs some TLC, for example in the room I had, a large section of wallpaper had been ripped off the wall and a coat... More

Bathroom close to collapsing, no floorboards, just lino. Rooms smell of damp but could well be cats urine. If that's not bad enough when I entered the hotel bar someone tried to kick my head in. You have been warned.. One star out of five is a huge plus for this hotel

Got the room via booking .com so we did not have to drive home after a work do. They make you pay when you arrive (you probably would not pay after your stay). loud muisic with a thumping bass till 2.30 am and then noise from stairs and corridors door banging till 3.45am. Generaly shabby all through the building stuff... More
