We stayed overnight at the travel lodge in Leamington Spa while visiting Warwick castle. The room was clean and warn and had plenty of hot water for the slightly smaller than average size bath. I paid £9.50 a night as I had booked a few months in advance. To me therefore this historic hotel, the Regent Hotel, was a real bargain. For £70 they could only manage one small bar of soap between us. Bed higher at the foot than at the head. Booked a twin, got a double. Appaling.
