This was the best travel lodge My family and I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Family room was huge. Building was possibly Victorian with high ceilings and a rather elegant (for a travel lodge)double split staicase leading to all floors. Elevator unique aswell. I paid £9.50 a night as I had booked a few months in advance. To me therefore this historic hotel, the Regent Hotel, was a real bargain.
