Recently had our wedding here on Saturday. All this negativity towards Mrs Ferrari is absolute tosh at our wedding she was simply sublime and couldn't do enough for us excellent customer service and made sure the day ran smoothly. The food was very good and served with speed and precision. Our waiter (I presume Mr Ferrari) was very professional and... More

I went to Ferrari's for a meal on a Monday night for a friend's 50th birthday. The venue is lovely, very cosy. The drinks and food are a little pricey, probably the preserve of special occasions only. I had a lovely meal and a very pleasant evening. The price knocks a star off.

But what really impressed me was the service ,As soon as the wedding had taken place, The staff came from nowhere with canopies and what a good choice ,Steak and Horse radish,... More

One thing I cannot fault before I get started is the grounds! The building and the gardens are stunning! We drove down the driveway very excited about our stay! However upon entering the front door everything went drastically down hill! It was like stepping into the 70s! There was an abundance of dead plants dotted around. It was like something... More

Having had our wedding reception here in 1998, we decided to book an anniversary stay here. Value for money was incredible. £85 for our room, 3 course set evening meal and breakfast the next morning. The room was beautiful, overlooking the gardens, spacious and clean. The evening meal was delicious and no complaints regarding the service or staff. All were... More

Stayed for one night in two adjoining rooms. Nice location and comfortable enough beds, though the rooms themselves left something to be desired (including no blinds on the skylight window to keep out the morning light). Both rooms had an en suite and TV. And WiFi. The staff were polite and friendly. Reasonable value for money. Would stay again.

Went as a group of 16 on a Sunday after my granddaughters baptism. Place was busy but plenty of staff buzzing around so drinks and food orders were soon taken.Four of our party were children under 10 and there was a good choice of fare for them to choose from on the children's menu.Between all the adults we had all... Went today to celebrate a birthday, 16 of us. Opted for the set meal deal, good food and very reasonably priced. What a shame about the staff, a big let down. Service was slow and I couldn't believe it when staff started to clear the plates away and I was STILL eating!!! How rude is that?? I agree with other... More

This traditional hotel is a credit to its hard working owners and staff. Tasty dinner and lovely breakfast. Warm welcome along with our elderly dog. Well tended gardens are a delight, thank you for a lovely stay
