Great Hotel In The Heart Of The City! This large Holiday Inn is situated in the heart of Preston. Reception is on the first floor, lifts or stairs were available. Wifi in the room was free using an ethernet cable. Parking was very limited but staff allowed us to park on a 'drop off' area overnight. Breakfast was great, and... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights and the hotel itself is absolutely fine. It is clean and the service is quite good and staff are friendly enough. Rooms were quite nosiey though but adequate. The bar lacked any atmosphere but was ok too. I had ordered a paper but this didn't come on the second morning and on the... More

I am going to declare bias. I lived in Lancashire for most of my adult life and I love Lancashire and all who live there. On the other hand I have really bad memories of Preston bus station on a windy rainy winter's day. And this place is next to the bus station. Ok, this hotel is next to the... More

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Preston on the nights of 12th and 13th November. All the hotel staff were pleasant and friendly. I was in room 505 which was clean and very comfortable. I ate in the bar area both evenings and had two very enjoyable fish meals. The breakfasts were brilliant, so much choice and well presented. The only... More

When staying away for a night or two my expectations of a decent hotel is that I can get a good night's sleep, have a good shower and that they serve a decent breakfast. The breakfast was five star, a superb range of items to help yourself to that all looked fresh. One of our party asked for something else... More

Right in the middle of Preston so great for location but this comes with downside of too few parking spaces in the hotel car park and also rooms on the northern side can be noisy, but south side overlooks the monstrous (now listed) concrete Preston bus station. Staff more than make up for these niggles

Platinum member who here overnight on business for first time in a few years. Room rate was a real bargain (corporate rate). The hotel isn't visually appealing but I was greeted by very friendly staff and despite a large group arriving in front of me I was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The hotel was immaculately clean and the bar... More

The hotel is a typical Holiday Inn layout and decor. Rooms are a reasonable size, although the bathrooms are very small. The rooms have secondary double glazing that does not keep the traffic noise out if you overlook the ring road and collect condensation. The location, next door to the Bus Station, is handy for the stores, Guild Hall etc.... More

Stayed there last night. Outside looks a bit uninviting. On entering was amazed just how lovely it was! The hotel was lovely nice inviting lounges lovely staff very helpful even searched for an umbrella for me. Rooms immaculately clean and very modern. Price was very reasonable. Breakfast was lovely . No complaints whatsoever will definitely be staying here again. Thankyou.

Looks pretty grim outside, but it was quite nice inside. I had a good night sleep, the room was quiet and clean. The staff were friendly, however during my reasonably short stay there were quite a few silly mistakes made. I would stay here again.
