I've stayed at this hotel for a total of 10 nights throughout the year after block booking to attend a course run at the hotel's function suites. The good points include decent room sizes, a decent array of TV channels, reasonably comfortable beds and a convenient location for road and rail travel. The "could do better" points are inconsistency in... More

Stayed here for one Saturday night. Staff were helpful and check in was quick. We stayed on the top floor which was quiet. The room itself was very small and we had a tiny bathroom. We couldn't open the windows but there was very good air conditioning. We were rudely woken up at 7 am with an automatic alarm call... More

Stayed here for just 1 night as a convenient stopping off point. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room and bathroom were large and clean and tidy. There was a good choice of food in the restaurant and the prices were reasonable. There is car parking on a first come first serve basis. If you can't find a... More

This was our first ever stay in a Holiday Inn and it won't be the last. We stayed one night on a stopover en route to Scotland. Room was very quiet despite overlooking a busy road junction and we slept well. Breakfast was superb - great choice of quality cooked items, lovely pastries and all very well presented. Probably the... More

I stayed at this hotel for the second time this year in early September and for three nights. The hotel is centrally located on the main ring road around Preston whilst the City Centre is less than a five minute walk. Limited parking is available at the hotel which I was fortunate to get a space all three days although... More

I was down from Scotland to meet some of my friends at the Arsenal game in Liverpool at Goodison Park. I couldn't get a train back home to Glasgow that night due to the late kick off so i needed a cheap place to stay. Worked out cheaper staying in Preston for a train home at lunchtime the next day.... I've stopped here at least 3 times now and always found the staff friendly and helpful. Parking is limited but you can pay £4 rather than £6 in the bus station car park next door if you speak to reception. Even the rooms facing the main road are quiet and, typically from Holiday Inn, a good size with comfy bed... More

We stayed here as a stopover on a long drive. We arrived very late (1am) but were given a great welcome by the reception staff who were very helpful. We advised them that we had a really early departure and guided me to a parking space that would enable me to get on the road quickly. The hotel was handily... More

I have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel with a national holidays trip, rooms were clean enough the 3 course evening meal was terrible, we were told to be down for 19.30 for the meal to be served. The choices left a lot to be desired and when asked if there was a child's option was... More

I was disappointed to read the 1 star review of your time here at the hotel. I sincerely apologise for the situation at dinner. We have received more feedback about staggering the tables and also having an additional children’s option. This has been taken on board and already put into place I am sorry to hear that this experience means... More
