Stayed here overnight to split up the long drive up to the Lake District and was pleased with the choice. It's a clean, basic hotel but was exactly what we were looking for. Managed to get it for a good price to due to a special offer on the website. Arrived late (midnight) and check in was easy, though the... more

I stayed at the Ibis on Friday 22 August 2008 for 1 night. I arrived and was checked in by 2 minutes past midnight as my flight to the UK had been delayed. Having travelled for 10 hours from France I asked the receptionist whether I could get a drink at the bar as I was exhausted and wanted to... more

Stayed here because all other hotels in Preston were fully booked. I think that is a sign. Arrived around 10pm. Booked in ok we were asked if we would like an early morning call which we accepted... we are still waiting! So we were late for our appointment. Room was a good enough size and clean enough. Breakfast ok. They... more

I had pre-booked my Ibis hotel in the UK before leaving the USA. I had reckoned to drive north from Heathrow via Glasgow to Scotland. I wouldn’t normally advocate that but I was arriving before mid-day on a Friday and knew I would be well clear of London before rush hour – in fact well before I could have boarded... more

This hotel delivers exactly what it promises. A simple clean modern room, with en suite shower room. Its not the place to go and write your first novel, but if you just want a bed its fine. The staff were efficient and friendly, You can comfortably come and go as you please. It sits hard against the motorway so you... more

Good value for price. Room was clean. No problem with noise. No frills, but you get what you pay for. If you just want a clean room to crash for the night, you can't go wrong! more

This wasn't our first choice, and only ended up staying here due to all other hotels in the area were fully booked. Booked a double room which was basic, as most motel based hotels are. No bath, but shower was good. Recommend you give the breakfast a miss unless you either get there late or early as possible, as there... more

Not my 1st - 1th choice inclusive but my other choices were fully booked. Typical motorway junction hotel and fairly well-priced. Room is standard format, standard decor. I didn't mind the omission of the bath and preferred the double length shower. Do ask for a room facing away from the motorway. Don't stay here if you value fresh air as... more

Our daughter booked three rooms for six adults and her three year own son via the Accor Hotels website. There was no facility on the site to select a no smoking room option, so she telephoned the hotel to request the rooms should all be no-smoking and the person she spoke to said this was fine. However, when we arrived... more
