I have stopped at the Prk Hotel many times over the past two years. There are a lot of regulars who have movced from the faceless Premier Inns around the area. The food is great, the welcome is wonderful and you are pretty much guaranteed a pleasant chat over dinner with the other residents. And as Flo Benjamin and Anita... more

I stayed at the Park Hotel many times during 2008 on business. I couldn't have wished for a better hotel for this purpose. Excellent evening meals and breakfasts served by friendly staff. Comfortable, well furnished and very clean rooms. more

I stayed here for two nights on business. I had originally tried to book the holiday inn in Preston but this was fully booked so i went with the only other free hotel i could find. THE HOTEL IS 45MINS WALK FROM PRESTON TOWN CENTRE WHICH TAKES YOU THROUGH A VERY BAD AREA OF HOUSES WITH CCTV FIXED ON THEIR... more

What a gem of a hotel The Park is! Exceptionally clean character hotel, extremely friendly and efficient service and great value for money. Don’t miss out on the superb food, especially the evening meal. I live in Switzerland and travelled to Preston for my son’s graduation, we had a great three-course dinner, with wine and celebratory drinks – top food,... more

Having read the most recent review (after booking) I was really concerned, and arrived at an empty reception area and an almost silent building. The room was in the distant reaches of the building, up and down stairs and through numerous doors/corridors. It was however clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee, and great biscuits! Venturing to the bar the service... more

What a find! Used to the big corporate hotel overnight stays, this friendly hotel was full of character and charm and a lovely change. Lots of original features - coving and stained glass windows really added to the quaintness of the place. The staff were extremely polite and helpful - gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. The... more

Trip Advisor ranked it as the No.1 hotel in Preston. It's website informed us it had a 2 rosette restaurant. We therefore booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and dinner for the second night. We were telephoned before our arrival to say that the restaurant no longer had any rosettes due to change in ownership and anyway a wedding was... more

Our room looked brand new. Literally, even the building addition it was in looked brand new. The en-suite looked like a display in a plumbing showroom - brand new everything, absolutely spotless. The bed was a Queen, not just a full, and appeared to be brand new. The other furniture looked brand new as well. The TV was a brand... more
