We stayed for two nights on a short break and could not find a single thing to criticise. The hotel, accommodation and staff were excellent. The location is great and Knowle itself is a nice place to visit. Thanks Greswolde more

I liked this hotel, good reception staff, was there for a wedding nearby, we got an early check in, had a sandwich beforehand, friendly staff, room was clean, boutiquey ie fashionable. We came back at midnight had a nightcap with friends, went to bed, slept very well, Great beds and then went down for breakfast which is where it all... more

We stayed here after a double booking fiasco at another nearby hotel (Hogarths). The Greswolde is in a great location - very attractive, clean & modern rooms - cut above most standard hotel rooms. Breakfast was inclusive for us - but still a great price if you were paying seperately. Full English and freshly cooked! Only slight critism is breakfast... more

I stayed at the Greswolde on march 26th 2009 and thought that it was excellent. Firstly the rooms are extremely well equipped with everything you could ask for. Secondly the restaurant was fabulous with great food, and the staff were excellent, the waiter we had looked after us the whole time we were there, if you get served by a... more

The Greswolde has been a well-known "watering hole" in the region for many years (we used to live not many miles away). In recent years it has undergone extensive refurbishment and modernisation, but it remains a pub with rooms despite its claims to hotel status. PLUS POINT; the rooms are excellent, spacious and well-equipped, though those on the front can... more

We hosted our wedding reception for 140 people at this hotel and I have nothing but praise for the venue and staff. Jo and Jenny between them ensured that the evening ran smoothly and leading up to the event answered all of my questions. The food was excellent and the chef catered for our every whim. The hotel has been... more

Just arrived back home after a 2 night stay on business. Arrived late evenng and staff seemed pleasant enough when i checked in. No lift so had to carry case, bag and laptop case upstairs without assistance-hotel not suitable for disabled people at all! I thought I would be happy with the room as the rest of the hotel area... more

We stayed in the Greswolde for one night, it has been refurbished to a very high standard and offers excellent value for money. The bar food and breakfast were excellent but the Bar service was a little slow in early evening. We were upgraded to a suite and it was one of the best rooms we've stayed in. The suites... more
