I spent four nights at The Hollies Guest House and after reading some of the negative reviews I was apprehensive. I was attending a funeral and every else was fully booked. However, when I arrived there I was immediately greeted by the owner, Paul and he carried my suitcase to my room. He showed me my lovely, clean room and... More

Nice welcome - breakfast good - however hardly luxury, shower door so narrow have to push oneself to get in, and we are slim! Also blind in bathroom filthy. Power points - one behind cupboard which had to be moved so I could dry my hair, which I had to do without mirror as hair dryer didn't stretch that far... More

As we were looking for somewhere really close to the NEC this was the ideal location. Okay so it's not perfect but it served it's purpose as a place to lay our weary heads for a couple of nights. The owner was very welcoming and again although not great, the breakfast was adequate. The TV in our room wasn't the... More

The room we stayed in at the weekend was rather a small double, but well decorated in a modern hotel style and comfy. The breakfast was good and better than others we have had in other B and Bs! We will certainly stay there again when we go to the NEC. Very good value for the price.

Stayed for 6 nights. To start it is not in hampton in arden,so wasted half an hour getting there, its is close to ballshall common. The rooms are tired, with old box televisions and antenna ariel, they dont work. Breakfast consists of bacon which is like shoe leather, and one button mushroom? Rubber egg,and beans with a hair in on the last occasion.the showers... More

Every year in early October my wife and I take our two granddaughters to the Horse of the Year Show at the NEC, as we have done for several years now. The girls like to be there for about 8am, so we drive from Yorkshire on the Friday evening, have 2 nights B&B at the Hollies, and drive home on... More

I stay often at The Hollies. Great value, accommodation good, room normally a double and breakfast always good. Owner is always really nice and chatty and makes it feel homely. Parking outside and set back from road so quiet

I stayed here whilst attending Motorcycle Live in November. It was a fantastic little guest house, very clean, well presented and excellent cooked breakfast. The rooms were a pleasant size and beds were comfortable. The owner was very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Stayed here recently while at a 4 day show at the N.E.C. Excellent location for the event. Service and breakfast was excellent and Paul was extremely attentive to all our needs. Bedroom was a good size, bathroom with shower cubicle and washbasin adequate.
