Having heard reasonable reviews from co workers i decided to stay for two nights. I certainly did not receive anything like the service reported. The room was surprisingly cheap and now i know why. The greeting was rude and unwelcoming. The phrase "do you have a mobile because i expect you will get lost" was bizarre. Having paid up front... More

Recently stayed for one night and got a good deal at £43 for a double room. Good location in the centre of Solihull close to shops and restaurants etc. Friendly and efficient staff at check-in even though the hotel was busy holding a wedding. We were allocated a room on ground floor level which overlooked the car park, not the... More

We had one of the family rooms which was a great size. They hadn't made up the children's bed due to an error on their system but sorted immediately by friendly staff who offered to bring another fold up bed in so our boys could have a bed each. It's right in the centre of town but has a car... More

This was a work trip and i specifically specified this hotel. On arrival I was told the room had been booked but not paid for, even though i have confirmation of booking. The receptionist said after providing confirmation "I have worked in this business for 10 years these rooms have not been paid for". I spoke to our corporate booking... More

Our visit was a sad one, to say goodbye to our dear friend's husband whose recent passing shocked us all. Upon arrival at reception, the staff quickly recognised that we were mourners & offered free of charge parking & help in finding our way around the hotel. We were invited to join with others to share refreshments, a delicious finger... More

Rather alot of noise from the pub next door which spoils things rather. Staff are friendly got b/fast in Weatherspoons a 10 minute walk. Lots of eating options within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Bed is rather small for two adults.

Situated virtually opposite a beautiful church and literally around the corner from Solihull high street this is the perfect hotel for a girly weekend or simply just a trip. From the front it is very beautifully done and is original Tudor building I believe however from behind just looks like a normal hotel such as a premier inn. We stayed... More

Got a fantastic deal at short notice with this hotel. Lovely room, pleasant staff and a great location. The main problem with this hotel was what was to come after our stay. We stayed for one night in a town house suite. When returning from our trip we received a phone call from this hotel asking what had happened to... More

Booked this hotel as a very last minute idea. Got a good deal for room only. Very impressed with the position of this hotel as it was just on the edge of the shopping centre which has lots of bars and restaurants also. We arrived early and saw the afternoon tea advertised, decided to give it a go. Wow -... More
