Recently stayed at the Ramada, Solihull (May 2013). Super central location, car parking free with booking (usually £6.00 or £9.00 overnight). Excellent breakfast choice. We stayed in one of the split level suites, loads of space & nicely equipped. Bed very comfy. ABle to walk into town within 2-3 minutes & ideal for nightlife. Drinks a little expensive in hotel... It was a bit of a maze to get to reception from the street, and staff were not very helpful in helping you find it. receptionists seemed a bit stand-offish and definitely not up to the standard to customer service I'm used to. As for the room, it was quite nice, can't really complain about the style of it. however... More

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent visit. My apologies if you found the staff unfriendly I assure you this is not a normal occurence and will be addressed. As a town centre hotel (built around the bowling green) areas of the hotel are a distance from the reception area and this is unavoidable due to the character of... More

Stayed at this hotel on business. The room was clean and comfortable, tv, fridge, iron, trouser press. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I only had breakfast which was nice enough. Hotel has good parking and is ideally located for Birmingham, Coventry or the Airport. I would stay here again

we have stayed here a few times now when visiting relatives in Birmingham and never had a bad experience, breakfast is always great too. well worth the extra money if you were planning to stay somewhere ghastly like the travel lodge! We chose to stay here for two nights whilst attending a friends wedding in Solihull. I'm glad to say that we were not disappointed. After travelling up from the Isle of Wight after work we were all tired by the time we arrived for an 11pm check in. The Reception team were polite and helpful and the family room that... More

Hassle free stay at the Ramada ! We were staying here one night so we could hit the shops and have a meal out in the evening. As a base to explore further you couldn't really ask for more.
