Rooms were comfy, in fact the bed was comfier than the last 30 or so hotels stayed in. Breakfast is made to order and i imagine that Teresa would cook anything if it was in the fridge. The establishment has received many thank you letters where clearly the owner has put herself out to asisst travellers. We were recommended local... More

Station Approach is an ideal place to stay in Solihull if you are looking for somewhere close to town and the station, clean and warm. I found the owner helpful and hospitable. Although there were no facilities to make hot drinks in the room, you can use the breakfast room and help yourself. I breakfast wash freshly prepared and good quality... More

I booked my Father to stay here for four nights Thursday - Sunday. We turned up on the Thursday to be told there were no rooms available & that they had us booked in from the Wednesday. Whilst I accept that it could well have been my mistake in regard to date of arrival as plans were still fluid, we... More

We stayed here while going to the NEC, it was lovely, and just around the corner from the bus stop (10 minutes to nec) and 2 minutes from a lot of lovely shops and restaurants, which were perfect for the evening. The landlady was very welcoming and friendly, the room was clean fresh and the bathroom, although a little small... More

four rooms empty, but i was given the small, noisy one on the front. The other rooms were so much nicer, and quieter Couldn't make tea in my room, and the shower broke when I attempted to use it. Was told to be down for breakfast between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. which was too early for me on a short... More

A well run family B&B, this was my third stay - the rooms are clean and breakfast is good. It is not a hotel, but a great B&B in a superb spot next to the train station. Great value, back soon!

Lovely run family B&B. At last someone who is British who knows how to give good value for money! I cannot fault this B&B. I have never come across such a lovely and pleasant place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the Solihull area and reading people's reviews who have critised this lady's business should be... More

We had a twin bedded room which was clean and comfortable although the en-suite was a little cramped. The welcome and everything else was efficient and there was no problem with our early (12.00) arrival. The only thing which took us aback was the breakfast room - a long narrow room with a work top round 3 sides. To eat... More

I stayed in a single room which was tiny but clean. I needed non-feather bedding due to allergies and was told that I should have told them in advance of this, as because I arrived late this was stored in already occupied rooms, which made me feel that my request was viewed as rather inconvenient and awkward. I borrowed a... More

Shared a three bedded room with two collegues, a little cramped but clean and tidy the shower room was very small with not enough room to get undressed or dressed. The shower was a small trickle of hot water . Room was very hot even though we had both windows open. No tea or coffee in the room but bottles... More
