Leaded Lights is an excellent guest house in all respects. The rooms are clean and comfortable with ensuite facilities and the landlady really makes you feel at home, nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and the location perfect with lots to do and see in and around the area. We had a very relaxing few days and... More

Stayed at The Leaded Light for a long weekend with husband and daughter. Warm and welcoming, comfortable and unpretencious. Really made to feel at home by the landlady. The breakfast set us up for the day with plenty of choice. Good service and good location. Would stay here again especially at this price.

Leaded light has been one of my best experiences during my stay in the Northwest. I should say its simply awesome!!!..The landlady is so warm and kind. She makes you feel at home far away from home. She makes breakfast of your choice and also does a great preparation of choice for dinner. The rooms are clean and tidy. the... More

I have stayed several times at the Leaded Lights and have enjoyed a clean and comfortable room every time, the service is adequate and friendly. I felt very safe and met other fellow travellers. The landlady is very accommodating. I also took lunch with me which she made for me. Very good value for money.

stayed for one night-room was not cleaned properly-the owner seemed to be surpriesed taht we showed up although we were on time. The decor/refurbishment was poor-seemed half finished and tatty. Our breakfast seemed a surprise as well-not very well prepared or presented-seemed like it was the first tiem they had had guests!!

The good stuff: The staff were nice, its near a Chinese, a good Indian, Chip shop, and local stores never went much further. The other Bit: The meals we had were rubbish over priced and over cooked, After the first night we had bad backs from the beds, the beds were so loud as you turned over, ear plugs a... More

I was working in the area and needed a bed for the night................the Leaded Light was 'recommended'. The room I got was small and very dingy with carpet on the bathroom floor............that for me says it all. When I say bathroom, I really mean cupboard with sink, shower and toilet shoehorned into one room. The room was depressing with dark... More
