We stayed here at the end of June. A friendly welcome at reception. Room was really spacious and comfortable and had all mod cons whilst retaining some of its historic feel. Loved being able to have a night cap in the bar after our meal at The Boathouse. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were all friendly and we... More

Positives Friendly and very helpful reception and bar staff especially Fern and the young lady with red hair Food in bar / restaurant very good Room No 8 was large, comfortable and clean Negatives Room 41 (the room we were allocated) was a disaster. It was just outside the main building and right next to the kitchen! The large extractor... More

The Tudor House Hotel has a 'secret garden', although not so secret that we didn't spot it from the street as we were walking past! It was a lovely shady courtyard with flowering pots, so we called in for a morning coffee. If the coffee had been a bit stronger, we would have given five stars.

We stayed in a nice, double room on the 1st floor for 2 nights. All the staff were extremely friendly and they made our stay a very enjoyable experience. We had steaks for our evening meal and traditional breakfasts, we could not fault the food or the service. Only 2 gripes (hardly worth mentioning) 1, our room, being on the... More

Visited Tewkesbury again for the Medieval Festival and battle re-enactment. We stayed at our favourite hotel and my partner's daughter was able to come with us. As usual we were given a very friendly welcome and all the staff were their usual professional and helpful selves. Pam and Dave have taken the hotel to the next level. We stayed an... More

The manager of the hotel booked us in and then showed us to our room which we instantly loved. It overlooked the canal and river and the Malvern Hills in the distance and was very quiet. We stayed for three days and would have stayed longer if we could. The staff are friendly and breakfast was good. My only criticism... More

Originally booked at the boathouse for Sunday roast we decided to stick to a more traditional location for our Sunday road. The boathouse has a lovely location but not much character. Something that the Tudor house is full of. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered two roast one beef and one lamb shank. I had all the... More

Arrived Saturday for 1 night .We were given the room right at the top of the stairs . A very quirky individual room The floor was very uneven but I liked it the room had an aura about it . Dinner was very nice as was the breakfast . For £89 inc breakfast well worth the money
