I met Pam and David Eastham in Barcelona where I work. They stayed for a couple of days in the hotel where I work for, It was really a pleasure to talk to them. They where such a sweethearts. I am very impressed and curious about the story of their hotel. Can't wait to visit England, I will definitely take... More

I have just returned from a two night stay. The staff are amazing, so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The food was 5 star. Lots of it and cooked to a very high standard. The rooms were comfortable and although some areas could do with a minor bit of updating, this hotel is fab. Full of history and... More

Just spent four nights at this hotel which dates back hundreds of years. The car park is round the back and entry by a very narrow road at the side which can be easily missed. I had booked a room (No.21) overlooking the water at the back of the hotel for myself and my husband, requested the back after reading... More

This staggeringly historic site is slightly worn around the edges but well worth the trip. You have to love a place where the floors tilt and the staircases are almost out of Harry Potter. It is frankly difficult to suss out where the car park is and the access is down a VERY narrow lane. But once inside you feel... More

This was a superb place, dripping in history, the food was amazing, the room so grand for the price too. This is definitely somewhere I would visit again, one little gripe was the small car park, but that just showed how popular the place was, but parking on the main road was easy. The service was great and friendly and... More

We stayed for 1 night at the Tudor house hotel. We found it easy to find but had to do a bit of guess work on the car park which we found down the narrow back road behind the hotel. The car park does has narrow spaces and we struggled to find a space at one point. The hotel itself... More

This hotel is full of character although some of the decoration seems out of keeping. We had a large room which was clean and reasonably quiet given it faced onto the main road. Parking is fine once you’ve found it down some narrow streets behind the hotel. It’s a pity there’s no information in the room about restaurant times as... More

We have just returned home after a two night stay as we had tickets for the Abbey concert on the Saturday night. This hotel is perfectly situated on the High Street. OK the hotel is in need of a bit of tlc but let's face it, it's a very old building.. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The... More
