I do not give many excellent reviews, I feel they can be over done. On this occasion I have also taken into consideration the cost of the room. £45 for a single. This is an old fashioned B&B style hotel where many aged buildings have been knocked together down the years to create one building on many levels. The rooms... More

The location is perfect, the double room was great..comfortable..warm..fab power shower. The owner was very accommodating & got up early to serve us a full English breakfast at 6.30am. It cost £40..what's not to love!?

Well I suppose I only reply to unfavourable reviews but what the hell - I have just had to reply to an awful review so thank you so much for this kind review. An appreciative owner. More

Stayed only one night because we didn't sleep due to traffic noise (our room was at the front of the hotel, perhaps would be better at the back). The room smelled, no mattress protectors, the cleanliness of the bed sheets was dubious, and didn't want to walk on the carpet without shoes. The bathroom was clean (although there was a... More

Our last 10 reviews have been excellent. We are in the centre of town and have a busy restaurant Fridays and Saturdays are not going to be quiet. We are not going to respond to comments about sheets and carpets which are ridiculous. When people write a bad review they say the breakfast is greasy, everything is grilled so maybe... More

Would endorse all the positive reviews of this Hotel it was value for money with a good English breakfast and well placed for the Abbey and museum's, comfortable clean room with hospitality tray and large modern TV would recommend for a budget break.

We used this stop over just to break our journey from Lancashire to Exeter which on a Friday evening could take quite a while, and a really good find this hotel was, as the hotel itself says not luxurious but clean, friendly and well priced with a lovely breakfast the next day, just a couple of minor points, maybe a... We visited Tewkesbury to meet up with friends who were on the Caravan Club site. We stayed at the Abbey Hotel for 3 nights and found it very clean and comfortable. The room was full of character in keeping with the age of the hotel. Excellent breakfast in the lovely conservatory and the owners are very friendly. The hotel is... More

Lovely quiet b&b, excellent breakfast. Good value, easy booking and central for Tewkesbury, not overly modern but rooms are clean and cosy. Owners are helpful without being pushy great for anyone wanting a quiet break

Booked hotel as going to grandson's wedding and daughter's house overflowing. We booked a double and a single and got some delightful rooms. The rooms were spacious, light, airy and clean - what more do you need. But added to that you got a warm welcome, friendly hosts and a lovely breakfast in a charming conservatory. Yes it could do... Just returned from a weekend trip to Tewkesbury. Chose this B&B from website and yes it could be a bit more up to date, but it was charming, friendly and lovely breakfast. We paid £110 for 2 nights for both of us. Pretty good for High season. Very easy parking off road and close to shops, Abbey and river. Would... More
