I was here for just one night to attend a concert in the Abbey. The friendliness of Christine and Steven - it felt I'd known them for years - the spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated bedroom, complemented the lovely music and made my stay perfect. I can see myself going back there time and time again. And what a coincidence: Chris... More

Stayed for 1 night to go to a concert in the abbey. Running late so Steve was ready and waiting in the car park for us so we could dash off. Can't beat that kind of service... Beautiful B&B! Lovely decor, very comfortable and immaculately clean. Lots of 'posh' touches everywhere. And a very, very warm welcome from Steve and... More

We returned to Jessop House for a one night stay recently so we could attend a friends wedding nearby the next day. The house is as beautiful as ever and Chris and Steven as welcoming as always. You can't ask for better hosts, happy to see you, making sure your stay is as smooth and comfortable as possible and then... More

We have stayed in a lot of b&b in our travels around the uk for many years. We did have a number 1 where we used to go each time we travelled. But now we have a new number 1...this place is just head and shoulders above the rest. Sylish, spacious, and the huge bed is soooo comfortable. The sort... More

This is an immaculately kept and furnished house with a warm welcome and a nice underlying comfortable feeling. The best bit however was when we struggled to get a taxi the owner kindly ran me up the road to pick up my car about 3 miles away, thank you!

This is a small establishment, very nice furnished and homely. The hosts are about as friendly and helpful as they come, just lovely. They seem to go the extra mile for their guests. Location is central as the guesthouse is located on one of the main roads, just down from the magical Tewkesbury Abbey (a must-see). Note you need to... More

....is all I can say. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. It was our 10th wedding anniversary so we were upgraded to room 7 which is just stunning and beautifully decorated as is the rest of the house. The breakfast was lovely! I can definitely say there is not one thing I can fault... More

This is by far the best B & B my husband and I have ever experienced. When we first got here we were booked elsewhere and were very unhappy. My sister and I decided to see if we could find somewhere else to stay. We stopped when we saw the Jessop House and asked if they had any openings. Well,... More

I had a 2 night stay here with my daughter. The place is absolutely beautiful, excellently situated to explore Tewkesbury. Chris and Steve are warm and welcoming hosts and will do as much as possible to make the stay perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jessop House for any occasion.

This was the most unusual B&B experience we have ever had. We tried to book here in advance of our trip, but they were full. After a really bad experience at another Tewkesbury hotel, we walked down the street and knocked on the Jessop House door. For all the beauty the listing shows, the reality was ever so much better.... More
