My family and I stayed over the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful stay. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel welcome and part of the family. The rooms are well appointed and well decorated and immaculate. Breakfast was delicious. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Really nice hotel and lovely people. Nothing was too much effort and lots of attention to detail. The room was lovely and breakfast was great. I have paid a lot more of much less in other hotels, so I would recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay their again. The Italian next door was also a really good find,... More

Overnight stay over the weekend Jessop House was central and easy to find with handy parking at the back - need to book. We enjoyed this kind of over-the-top decoration with shaped segmented mirrors, matching flowered drapes and wallpaper, mutiple cushios - a lot of mixed ornaments and some fine antiques - wonderful. Food at breakfast was also excellent with... More

Stayed here for one night on Saturday, this guest house is excellent value for money. The owners clearly care about customer satisfaction. The house is immaculate, beds very comfortable, and a really good breakfast. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance, we opted for the Italian next door recommended by our hosts, we had a lovely meal. If I... More

I stayed this weekend and it was wonderful. Fantastic room and decor. Everything was considered from fresh milk in the room to an honesty fridge if you fancied a nightcap. The hosts were very helpful and interesting. We'd definitely stay there again. The prices were also very reasonable for what you get. The breakfast is faultless. Very good quality ingredients... I made my journey to Jessop house which took a long time as road works doubled my travel time. When I finally arrived Chris and Steve (the proprietors) were ver welcoming and made me feel right at home straight away. My stay was from a Tuesday night to Friday morning and it was faultless. Stunning attention to detail in the... More

We had a lovely room - in the attic, but nice and airy. Two windows kept the room cool in the heat. Everything was of really lovely quality - the room, bathroom, house - and the food was equally good. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. A great place to stay in a beautiful and wonderfully historic town. A very pleasant... More

Jessop House is a beautiful place to stay if visiting Tewksbury or need a place to stay over if traveling onto somewhere. The whole house is superbly clean and well kept. There was a very good selection of foods for breakfast and the dinning area is lovely and spacious. I would certainly recommend Jessop House to anyone and will certainly... More

We booked two rooms for ourselves and two children as we were going to the medieval festival. The hotel is beautifully decorated with well equipped and spotlessly clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious and great choice - all cooked to your liking. Hotel location is perfect to explore the town and abbey as well as being ideal for the festival.

My wife and I went to a wedding at the Abbey and stayed at Jessop House we have stayed before. Each time we stay we are met with a warm welcome from Chris and Steve which makes us feel at home. The breakfast is excellent plentiful and freshly cooked. The rooms are clean, bright and cosy.
