Spotless, beautiful rooms. Wonderful welcome, made to feel as though we were really special. Breakfast good enough for a king. Cannot fault this hotel nor the owners for their hospitality. Would recommend to anyone. Thankyou soooo much x Loved the town and the lovely countryside close by. All said WONDERFUL, relaxing weekend.

My partner and I started a week-long driving holiday with a stay in Tewkesbury. We loved the town, and we were absolutely thrilled with our choice of B&B. It really set the tone for a wonderful vacation. The owners, Chris and Stephen, are lovely people and they went out of their way to be personable and accommodating. The breakfast was... More

Other reviews on this site speak of the quality and comfort of the accommodation, and the delicious breakfast - all true, so I won't repeat their descriptions. For my husband, teenage daughter and me, the lovely memories of Jessop House can best be described by simply saying "Chris and Steve". Our hosts were the most welcoming and sincere people, and... The trouble with staying in a really top-class place is that other reviewers have already said everything. We stayed for four nights in April and tried to stay another night, but they were fully booked. Deservedly. Very high standard of comfort and excellent food, but the really outstanding thing is how friendly and welcoming Chris and Steve are. It makes... More

It is lovely to stay somewhere where such pride and love has been taken in the business of looking after people. Utterly charming place and very well run. We had a cracking room at the back with the shower and loo in the room which worked very well. Comfortable bed and linen (so important), chocolate eclairs wherever you looked and... More

Thank you for your kind review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to your return. My sausages: The sausage is organic and comes from a local farmer in Tewkesbury they have a meat content of 80% (just checked again with the farmer) I don't think that you can get better. All of our breakfast... More

We stayed here for a long weekend at the end of last month. We had the family room which was ideal for the four of us, plenty of room and beautifully decorated throughout. Chris and Steve gave us a warm welcome and we were made to feel at home almost immediately. They could not do enough for us and were... More

Having travelled to the Cotswolds this February to explore its renowned countryside, I couldn't miss the opportunity to stop in Tewkesbury to look around this historic town. Being a traveller at heart I have stayed in many different places, however none could compare to hospitality and true sense of home-from-home I experienced during my stay at the Jessop Townhouse. Despite... More

This was our second stay at Jessop townhouse after visiting family in Tewkesbury, and just like our first stay Chris and Steve were most welcoming. We stayed in a different room from when we last visited and were pleased to see that the standard was just the same with the decor being beautiful, a big comfy bed, powerful shower and... More

stayed at Jessop house while visiting relatives in tewkesbury. This has got to be the best b&b ever. The decor is superb, with great attention to detail, the room we stayed in is spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served in the beautiful breakfast room, Stephen is very attentative, and could not be more amenable, Christine and Stephen... More
