hotel was good, but showing it's age especially in the bathroom / bedroom. the look and feel is dated, the mirrors in my bathroom (rm229?) were not really clean and the shower had no power at all! Staff were friendly ... dinner was good, but not outstanding and breakfast was a bit average with regards to the cooked / fresh... More

Excellent stay for one night a round of golf and spa treatments Good food but very expensive bar prices - in line with other similar hotels Bathroom smell was unacceptable and could not have stayed another night in the room. Situation resolved by staff fully.

The room was great & so was food, comfortable bed, there is also a golf course & prices are reasonable if you fancy a round, easy to get to as just off motorway and close to the town, grounds are nice & so are the staff, they are very polite and helpful

Due to negative reviews I had previously avoided this hotel. I am pleased I took a chance and stayed here. Room was spacious with triple aspect windows, large bathroom, bed was comfortable. Excellent value room and breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful with lots to choose from. All staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the leisure facilities. We will definitely stay... More

Attended as a male group all 55+. The initial deal was £62 Dinner, bed and breakfast. Our twin room was set up with a double bed. Room service eventually corrected this but failed to leave extra towels. The bar was really expensive. £5.00 for a beer and £29.00 for a bottle of ordinary red. Diner was really good but became... This is a golf hotel, with the usual Hilton refinements. Ideally perched about 2KM from the city centre (the city becomes crowded and noisy at times). The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. I would give 4/5 for sleep quality. The TV channels (free) are limited but I am sure there was a better choice of block buster movies on... More

Arrived on a Thursday in July for 2 night stay to visit area, not golfers. On arrival we were very lucky to get a parking space as there was at least one conference going on, others were having to go round and round until someone departed, not a good start to stay. Check in was very good and most things... More

My husband and I Visited for an overnight stay, the room no 226 was overlooking the refuse bins, was small, hot, and had a hard and squeaky bed, complemented with tacky furnishings. Certainly not what you expect from the Hilton brand. Staff were good, breakfast excellent, but bar meal in the evening was small & not particularly good value, the... More

My sister and I stayed one night at Puckrup Manor, Tewkesbury. The location was ideal and the grounds are beautiful, however the hotel itself is looking a little sad. Our room was good and the bed very comfortable but the details needed updating. The typical Hilton breakfast was good and is ideal for golfers - most of the guests appeared... More

If you have business in the area, this is a good option, with the exception of summertime when the lack of air-conditioning makes for an uncomfortable stay. Other times of the year, this is a great place to stay with several good restaurants in the area. Other than the lack of A/C and sufficient parking, there is little to criticize.
